He's gone off into the barriers coming out of Turn Two after going out with Lance Stroll. He's got damage and a puncture.
Safety car is out, who is going to pit?
That will give Lewis Hamilton a free pitstop.
Sometimes you know it's just not your race. Lewis Hamilton could've come in a lap earlier, but instead it was Valtteri Bottas. Norris then goes into Stroll, safety car time.
Lap 47/66
Lance Stroll is the man in front on the inside line, Lando Norris goes for the corner as well and that can only lead to a collision. Stroll didn't appear to do much wrong. Doesn't matter, he's out. Norris is out too.

Bottas comes in first, on to the softs. Hamilton stays out a bit longer.

Mercedes are getting ready, to pit one of their drivers... who will it be?
Lap 45/66
Blistering on the rear right of Lewis Hamilton. He's got a seven-second advantage, but surely that tyre is not in good enough condition to carry on for another 20 laps.
Lap 45/66
Engineer: "Leclerc's last lap was a 1:23."
Verstappen: "No way he's going to the end."
Max Verstappen comes in and that's a good stop from Red Bull. On to the mediums as they try to see if they can spoil the Mercedes one-two dominance.
The Dutchman will have to get past Charles Leclerc though. Now the order is Hamilton, Bottas, Leclerc, Verstappen, Vettel, Gasly.

Lap 43/66
All the top six apart from Vettel may need to come in again. Maybe.
Lap 42/66
Sebastian Vettel pits for the second time, on to the mediums for him but he comes out behind Pierre Gasly down into sixth.
Well, not for long, Vettel dives in down the inside at Turn 10 and Gasly is helpless to stop the Ferrari man reclaiming fifth.
Lap 41/66
Hulkenberg comes into the pits, that's all 20 having come in. We still have all 20 in the race. That does not happen often.
Lap 39/66
"Looks like these tyres could be a stretch."
Lap 39/66
McLaren with the straight-line pace, not with the points though. Sainz 11th and Norris 15th as it stands.

Lap 39/66
Engineer: "If you’re stopping again, we need to overtake Verstappen on the track."

I think everyone is finding this situation with Ferrari frustrating, we need some competition for the championship at least.
Lap 38/66
How many times have we seen a race that looks cut and dried then suddenly takes a dramatic turn? There is always that possibility.
Remember when Charles Leclerc's Ferrari lost power in Bahrain, or Valtteri Bottas suffered a puncture late on when leading in Azerbaijan last year, or Sebastian Vettel crashing when in the lead in Germany?
What I'm basically saying is there is still hope for drama. Stay with us.
