Lap 35/66
At least it's a sunny day for the fans at the circuit.
Lap 35/66
Hamilton: "What's the time behind?"
Engineer: "Valtteri 1:21.7."
Hamilton: "Keep me updated, man."
Lap 35/66
Our big talking point could well be coming from the two Ferraris. Leclerc, on the hards, is 0.8 seconds clear of Sebastian Vettel on the mediums.
Lap 33/66
You'll be aware there is some football going on. You can find out all about the Premier League title race here.
In football terms, Hamilton is holding a 3-0 lead at half-time in this race.
Lap 32/66
Can Red Bull and Verstappen undercut Bottas and swipe second away from Mercedes?
Lap 31/66
That pitstop for Lewis Hamilton means his lead is now 8.6 seconds.
A word on Nico Hulkenberg though. Up to eighth as he has carved through the field after starting from the pits.
He has not stopped yet, neither have the Williams pair, who still manage to find themselves as the bottom two.
Lap 30/66
Max Verstappen says it is getting a bit windy. We could do with some weather intervention.
PBM: worst race of the season for those Alfas? Kimi won't give us any smiles in the end that's for sure.
Mark from Madrid: For a team that was out of sight at the front in pre-season testing this is an unprecedented humiliation. It's not so much putting a foot wrong, as being totally unable to put one right!

Hamilton comes into the pits, a slightly slow stop, there was something sticky there - not as clean as Bottas'.
Lap 28/66
Hamilton and Bottas are on the mediums, Verstappen on the softs, Leclerc on the hards, Vettel on the mediums. They're the top five in order.

They've got mediums on, and had none of the mistakes that Ferrari made, that was a very clean pitstop.
Lap 27/66
We're in pit stop mode. Valtteri Bottas in from second and back out in second. Mediums for him too and that looked a smooth stop. Textbook. That means Hamilton, yet to stop, has a whopping 34.2 second advantage.
Lap 26/66
Sebastian Vettel gets the fastest lap and has jumped from 10th to sixth on the medium tyres. In comes Charles Leclerc from third and goes back out in fifth. Hard tyres for him.
A change of tyres, throwing the dice and seeing what happens.
Lap 26/66
Daniil Kvyat with a lovely move to go around the outside of Kimi Raikkonen. It's one of the moves of the race, but still only good enough for 15th at the moment.
Lap 24/66

Former Renault driver on BBC Radio 5 live
I don't know how this one is going to pan out, he will charge up to Gasly and Leclerc but surely he will have to overtake them later on in the race...?

Lap 24/66
Mercedes have won four of the past five races here - the only blemish in the last five years was 2016 when their two men smashed into each other.
Mercedes looking great value for their fifth one-two finish of the season.

Verstappen was one of the only drivers who had a new soft tyre out of the top 12 so Red Bull are looking at the opportunity for a two stopper, so on to the mediums later.
This may well be the last race here in Barcelona, with no new contract. It's not been the most thrilling 23 laps we've seen so far.
Chris Doherty: Ferrari must have been running on fumes in preseason testing
Kayleigh: Imagine having to beg for a pit stop because your team are so inept? Arrivabene, where are youuuu? Ferrari clearly need you!
Kayleigh, you are on fire today!
Lewis Hamilton is leading, and comfortably so, this is how he did it. A lightning fast start and jumping Valtteri Bottas on the first lap.
