Oh, so this is what happen to Grosjean after contact with his Haas team-mate Magnussen on lap one.

Both retired as a result, they must be in soooooo much trouble right now.

Scratch that. Now Leclerc comes in for hards under the safety car as well. He and Bottas are the big losers there

Hamilton can go to the end on hard tyres, Bottas cannot.

In third, Vettel can go on hards and Leclerc can't on mediums.

Safety car gets Hamilton ahead of Bottas (although I'll be interested to find if he was on course to get it anyway). Verstappen now goes to the end on hards after a second stop. Leclerc, who stays out, will be coming back on fresh tyres at the end.

Hamilton responds to the appearance of the safety car by pitting for hards. Crucial decision because he is back out in front.

Well it’s that time! This is a close-up of the safety car, which was on display on the Fan Zone earlier this weekend.

Did you know that the most recent British GP without the need of a safety car was way back in 2012. Last year’s came in the closing stages with Sebastian Vettel holding on to his lead for the last 11 laps afterwards.

No he is fine, and I don't think Max should be radioing in to get other people penalties right now.

Leclerc is moving his car perfectly now.

That Leclerc and Verstappen pitlane incident, when shown on the big screen, gets a hands on head reaction from some fans, probably mirroring what was happening in both the Ferrari and Red Bull garages. Both men were involved in a stewards decision in Austria a couple of weeks ago. Back there again today?
