Q3
Vettel goes quickest, but then Leclerc goes 0.3 sec quicker. The same 0.3 sec I said I couldn't seem to find in final practice!
Q3
Both Ferraris, both Mercedes, both McLarens, both Renaults, Max Verstappen, and Romain Grosjean.

"I run a bit wide at Turn 10" says Kimi Raikkonen speaking to his media - his favourite job.
LS: "Sorry."
Engineer: "Copy that Lance." (But said in a really grumpy, not very enthusiastic at all deep voice.)
Q2
11. Gasly
12. Perez
13. Giovinazzi
14. Magnussen
15. Stroll
Nice job by Gasly to start P11, that means the team can decide what set of tyres to start on. Stroll went out wide and messed up his lap.
Q2
None of the top five improved on the softs for the final Q2 run. These are the tyres they will start the race on too.
Oops, Vettel and Gasly have a hairy moment.

Andrew Elliott: I still maintain that Gasly was not as bad as the Red Bull made him out to be. I think that the car is designed specifically for Max and his style. Albon is also not a bad driver.
Q2
Everyone is on softs.
11. Hulkenberg
12. Magnussen
13. Stroll
14. Ricciardo
15. Giovinazzi
George Russell has been speaking to Claire Cottingham. She asks about his earlier radio message.
He says: "It just one of those messages, they play 1 in 100 and they took a snippet. It didn't actually compromise us, it was just frustrating as we had traffic. The car felt good, and it was stronger than we anticipated."
As for the car's progress, he says: "I feel confident within, we are slowly making steps. It's a slow process but hopefully with the next slot of test items we can bring, we should be in good shape."
Q2
Since Pierre Gasly returned to Toro Rosso after the summer break, he has beaten Daniil Kvyat 2-1 in qualifying.
Now the score is 3-1, but Kvyat had engine problems in final practice, so it wasn't a reflection on his driving.
7 minutes left on the Q2 clock
11. Magnussen
12. Grosjean
13. Stroll
14. Ricciardo
15. Giovinazzi

Rivlud: @Jack_Nicholls@andrewbensonf1 Do you actually think @ValtteriBottas get's all the updates @LewisHamilton does? I think it's not on equal footing, clearly we know who is Number 1, similar situation at probably @redbullracing looking at the differentials overall!
Q2
Verstappen sets the pace, Leclerc goes 0.6 sec quicker, and then Vettel follows.
It's looking more and more like another Ferrari pole. But I won't count my pigeons...
Antonio Giovinazzi just escaped the drop in the first session of qualifying, but the Alfa driver will do well to make the cut next time round...
That fairground reminds me of Pripyat... Anyone seen the Chernobyl series?
Mercedes have not had a driver start in pole position for the last four races.
That is their worst run since they failed to make pole in the final eight races of the 2013 F1 season.
Lewis Hamilton made pole at Spa in the 11th race of the 2013 season but Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel went on to win in Belgium on the way to the last of his four world titles.
Hamilton and team-mate Nico Rosberg would go on to win pole in all but one race in each of the next three seasons (2014-16).
The worm turned last season, when Mercedes failed to start in pole in eight of the 21 races, while this season Hamilton and Bottas have topped the grid in eight of 15 races.
Hamilton last sat on pole for the German Grand Prix. Max Verstappen was quickest in qualifying in Hungary before Charles Leclerc claimed three in a row.
Will the Ferrari driver continue that trend today?
Daniel Eckersley: Re: the Red Bull programme - and to murder a well-worn phrase - is it better to have driven and been dropped than never to drive at all? At least as a Red Bull junior you know you have a chance.
