Hirsty: Don't give me Senna or Schumacher is the best....Hamilton is the best ever.

Racing Insider: Vettel is increasingly looking out of his depth in F1 Aston Martin and Racing Point taking him over Sergio Perez is a huge mistake. Either this ex-champ needs a long sabbatical or to call it a day. He just can’t keep it on the island anymore and it is painful to watch.

Max Verstappen moves above Daniel Ricciardo to go third quickest with 1:32.364.

Fair play to Lewis Hamilton, from getting through by a whisker to putting a real marker down to his team-mate. Valtteri Bottas is going to have to produce something special to usurp his team-mate.

An excellent lap from Daniel Ricciardo as he goes quickest with 1:32.364. Not the best of laps from Valtteri Bottas but still not bad as he goes two tenths quicker than Ricciardo. Here comes Lewis Hamilton, though, who is really flying...

Nik: Seb Vettel’s Ferrari limply dangling from a winch as the camera pans out over an empty car park, is 2020 in a perfect montage.

'Drive to Survive' are following Mercedes around this weekend. And we all remember what happened at the German Grand Prix last year when Netflix were hanging around the Silver Arrow's paddock...

Hamilton just by a second managed to get a lap time in there, that was so tight and so finally judged by both driver and team.

AGL: Oh dear, another unforced error from Vettel. I wonder if Ferrari can’t wait to be rid of him and I wonder if Aston Martin are quietly cautious about getting him.

Peter1401: So if Hamilton has to start on softs, would the tactic be to lead into the 1st corner then back up Bottas to preserve his tyres for a 1-stop?
