13:47 BST 27 September 2020BreakingFor the second time this season, and the first since the campaign-opener in Austria, Valtteri Bottas wins a grand prix.
Would he have won it if Hamilton hadn't been handed a 10-second penalty? Maybe? Maybe not?
Nevertheless, win number nine of his career for the Finn.

AJ: As Grojean goes off at turn 2 again can we just name that little bollard chicane the Grosean corner?
Lady T: Those saying Lewis at front makes a boring race. Hello he's not at the front but race is still boring. Took till laps 45 onwards to get a tiny bit of overtaking excitement... Not. Bring on next race please. Bottas.. well done. Hamilton damage limitations. Stewards shocking.
Lawrence Kershaw: 2 things should accrue penalties for a driver: does he endanger another driver; does he gain an unfair advantage. If an incident fails both those tests then no action.

Former Renault driver on BBC Radio 5 liveSo often I've been disappointed by Bottas' starts but this time he did bring the fight and fair play, he got past Verstappen but since then he's not had to do much to win the race today.

Pierre Gasly goes quickest, but his grasp of the bonus point for fastest lap only lasts a few seconds and Valtteri Bottas is now heading for a maximum 26 points.

A good-point proving exercise for Sergio Perez. Binned off by his team at the end of the season, he's fourth at the moment.
The two Renaults are fifth and seventh, with Charles Leclerc sixth and some decent points for Ferrari compared to their previous few races.

13:42 BST 27 September 2020Bottas leads from Verstappen and Hamilton
Peter: I'm a bit bemused by all this too and fro about Hamilton. Just because he's the champion, it doesn't mean everybody must love him and never criticise him - we all love some drivers and hate others ... it's called being a "Fan".
Matthew Venn: Hamilton isn't at fault for his penalty while Riccardo is. Hamilton has the right to be angry, all these penalties could result in a one race ban for him...
Jezz: Seems like Hamilton's only rival at the moment is his own team!? Two wins in a row lost now due to the team not knowing the rules! Maybe Pete should spend the next week reading them! I mean how many years has he been Lewis' engineer?

Max Verstappen has nabbed the fastest lap and has four laps to go to keep that bonus point. He won't catch leader Valtteri Bottas though unless he makes a huge error or his car falls apart.

Bottas nine seconds clear of Max Verstappen, with the Dutchman 11 ahead of Hamilton.
The Brit's 10-second penalty for two practice-start infringements has pretty much wiped out any excitement from this one. A crazy finale coming? Wouldn't bet on it.

Good news. We don't see Sochi again this year. Not a classic.

Rich: Hamilton is disappointed because his team let him down. Danny Ric isn't because he let himself down. Calling Hamilton spoilt because of that is ridiculous. Anyone listened to Vettel's radio recently? Fed up with everything and don't blame him either.
Bruce Ha: Will Grosjean get a penalty? He didn't exactly drive around it.
Kayleigh: Who’s more likely to receive a race ban first- Hamilton or Vettel?
