That incident between Charles Leclerc and Lance Stroll in the pits is to be looked at. Stroll seemed to be the innocent party, Leclerc may be fearing a penalty.
And Hamilton is on provisional pole after the first runs as Bottas is 0.150 seconds adrift.
That's a lap record for Hamilton by the way.
Hamilton with a 1:24.616. What has Bottas got?
Lance Stroll nearly smashes into the back of Charles Leclerc in the pits, with the Canadian instantly calling it an unsafe release.
Hamilton has not topped any session or any part of qualifying. Just watch as he then gets it on to pole. It's what he does.
Twelve minutes of Q3 is under way so we will find out soon.

Best showing in qualifying for Renault so far this season. Both cars in Q3, looking strong. Can they get themselves in the upper midfield? It's so tight.

Jeremiah: Very unlucky Albon. May he recover during the race. But that goes to show different drivers with different styles. Verstappen manages to keep close to Mercedes while Albon can't make it to the top 10.
Philip: Barring a miracle, Albon will be dropped by Red Bull before the season is out. Calling it now.
Two Mercedes, one Red Bull, two McLarens, two Ferraris, two Renaults and one Racing Point.
Lance Stroll is a lucky, lucky lad. He came tenth in Q2 with exactly the same time as Pierre Gasly who was eliminated in 11th. Stroll advances though as he set his time first.

The track seemed to get away from a lot drivers. Albon and Hulkenberg both switched from the mediums to the softs and basically found no time at all. That's maybe why Sebastian Vettel switched the other way?
Another bad day for Alexander Albon, A late collision in race one with Lewis Hamilton denied him a potential first win and certainly the first podium of his career.
He came fourth at the Styrian Grand Prix, then fifth a week later in Hungary but he has 11 cars in front of him tomorrow.
Alexander Albon is out in Q2. He smashed into a barrier yesterday and it's a miserable Saturday too.
Stroll in trouble. This might be a big surprise for Racing Point, Hulkenberg in trouble too.
Bottom five as it stands Gasly, Hulkenberg, Albon, Russell, Kvyat.

Valtteri Bottas needs to pick up as many pole position as he can. He was on pole here last year where Hamilton's been so strong at Silverstone. He's had the pole position and race win at the Austrian Grand Prix already - Q3 will be so crucial for Bottas' whole race weekend.
Both Mercedes men safely into Q3, but now three minutes left to decide the eight that will join them.

Nico Hulkenberg is a tenth and a half down on his team-mate Lance Stroll, on the medium tyres. He's doing OK.
Hamilton is going to cruise into Q3 as a clean lap, with no cars anywhere near him, takes him second, three tenths behind Valtteri Bottas.
So Hamilton gets away with a spin. It could've be a starting place outside the top 10 for him, instead he's into Q3 and eyeing up pole position number 91 of his career.
