What a day for Sergio Perez, he's second. He still does not have a drive for next year. Will this be the day that gets him into Alexander Albon's Red Bull seat for 2021?

And what a day for Sebastian Vettel. He has had to face so much criticism after being told at the start of the season that this was his last with Ferrari.

That's his first podium finish since coming second in Mexico in October 2019.

It has been a long time coming but what a race to seal it. If Hamilton didn't win today he would have done it at one of the next three but to seal it at the first time of asking, with a drive from sixth to first, kind of emphasised with Bottas and his spins, it highlights the year he has had.

Hamilton is emotional. He has matched Schumacher's seven titles. It seemed unassailable when Schumacher did it.
