"My car is bouncing around like a kangaroo, I swear."
Lap 12/57
Oh, Charles Leclerc won't like this as a move he tried on Esteban Ocon is done to him by Carlos Sainz, who dives down the inside of Turn One and he is into seventh.
Leclerc tries to regain position immediately but has to back off into Turn Three and Daniel Ricciardo then takes advantage to pick off the Ferrari at the next corner and get into eighth.

It's been Leclerc on the attack with Ocon on this restart but he's not made it through.
I tell you what, Bottas's restarts have been really poor all season but he has not been punished at the front. Now that he is further back he has had another poor restart and Sebastian Vettel has punished him.
Vertsappen's restart was aggressive and good. He was really close to Hamilton into the final corner but Hamilton nailed the final corner and just cleared away.
Lap 11/57
Lewis Hamilton clocks the fastest lap with 1:34.357 to extend his advantage over Max Verstappen to 1.4 seconds.
Meanwhile, race control confirm that the incident between Lance Stroll and Daniil Kvyat is being investigated.

That was almost a perfect restart from Verstappen but he was too far back.
10/57
Up in front, Lewis Hamilton, for the third time, holds off the challenge from those behind him and is 1.1 seconds ahead of Max Verstappen.
Lap 9/57
Racing again! Esteban Ocon defends really well as Charles Leclerc tries to sneak down the inside of the Renault into Turn One.
Mercedes on Bottas puncture: "It looks like you picked up some debris between Turns Three and Four, probably from the shunt at the start."
Lap 8/57
The safety car is going in at the end of this lap.

Lance Stroll's accident was not a huge deal. It was a low speed impact on a slow part of the track. It just looks bad, when a car turns upside down, but Stroll will be fine after that one.
Hamilton leads after Stroll crash
James Hammond: My heart is bleeding for Kvyat right now. Guy must feel cursed right now.
Milly McEvoy: What is happening in Bahrain? Lance Stroll has to crawl out from under his car which has flipped upside down. Yet another success for the Halo.
Rachel T: For goodness sake. The halo has done it again.

Lap 7/57
Valtteri Bottas is back out in 16th place after that pit stop. Started second and way down the order - it has not been a good start to the race for the Finn.
The cars are still circulating behind the safety car but the Lance Stroll incident debris appears to have cleared up so hopefully we are full racing soon. I wanted to say back racing, but we've barely had any racing so far as it is.

We are being told that it was Leclerc that Vettel had the issue with because Vettel was a long way down the order. He is now down in 16th place behind the two Williams and it was in Austria that he and Leclerc had a bit of an argy bargy.
Lap 6/57
Valtteri Bottas pits and is onto hard tyres after detecting a slow puncture, presumably picked up from the debris from Lance Stroll's incident.
Lap[ 5/57
Lance Stroll's car is being lifted off the circuit as the rest of the runners crawl behind the safety car.

"You can't just do that as if I am not there. It's the same as Austria. Seriously. I should have crashed, maybe that was the better option."
Lap 4/57
Sebastian Vettel isn't happy and the target of his anger appears to be his team-mate Charles Leclerc with the latter squeezing out Vettel at Turn One.
Lap 3/57
Daniil Kvyat went for a gap and there was contact between Lance Stroll's right rear and Kvyat's front left, flipping Stroll's car.
