It's going to be very difficult for him off the start with less grip.

Jeremiah Kariuki: Will Hamilton do what he did in Silverstone? Thinking he is a wounded lion and will be ready to pounce on the two McLarens and the Red Bull at the start. If he doesn't win, he will be up there.

James Stevenson: Could be another piece of sporting history created by a British sportsperson today. Going to be difficult but if there’s one thing we’ve learned about Lewis Hamilton over the years he’ll give it everything he has. Let’s go Lewis!

The sea of orange at last week's Dutch Grand Prix was unique to F1 - an amazing spectacle.

But let's be clear; the Ferrari-mad Tifosi are just as vociferous at Monza, as proven by the Michael Schmacher flags and beach towels(!) on sale outside the circuit in the stunning royal park, and the pumping Euro house coming out of the bars frequented by prancing horse tattoo-clad Italians.

Saturday was a weird day for the Scuderia, with Sainz crashing heavily and Leclerc's strange illness, but they are here, fifth and sixth on the grid.

Another Italian, Antonio Giovinazzi, did a great job for the 'family', starting seventh in the Alfa Romeo.

Will he ever grace a red car at Monza? There are doubts about his seat at Alfa. "He has to decide what he wants [for his future]," said Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto on Friday of his reserve driver. "Looking to continue with Gio as a driver in F1 is a priority."
