Sergio Perez is showered and changed and he's now watching on from the pit wall with the Red Bull crew. Carlos Sainz in second takes a clump of kerb in the Ferrari but the Spaniard is still banging out fastest laps, so no bother.

Amit Mandalia: Red Bull thinking Sainz is going to the end and have told Verstappen to push. Sounds like it’s clearly a 2-stop for Verstappen in that case

tony driver: Norris on mediums... TILL THE END?

Nulla Pax: Go go Fernando. El Plan time!

Onboard with Esteban Ocon and the scarlet Ferrari of Charles Leclerc is right there but once again, the Monegasque driver cannot find wiggle room and grip to shift the Alpine and move up the order. Fernando Alonso is down in seventh after his pit stop.

quixoticgeek: This Porpoising still looks utterly brutal. I really hope they get this fixed soon, purely for the health of the drivers.

Nulla Pax: Mick needs to feel good about himself this weekend. Car let him down.

Sho: Horrible strategy from Alpine not to put Alonso under that virtual safety car. Possible podium down the drain I think.
