    There should be a point when the medium tyres are faster than the softs. Soon the softs should start to degrade, so Lewis Hamilton should be quicker than Max Verstappen. That is why they took the pain at the start and it has worked for Hamilton. At some point the Red Bulls should start to come back to the Mercedes.

    George Russell had a decent start but was pinched on the inside of Turn Two. Lewis Hamilton was really good, I think he knew how crucial it was to stay ahead of Sergio Perez, I think he will be happy with that. He has kept Perez at bay despite starting on the medium tyres.
