Lewis Hamilton is pulled in and Mercedes opt for the hard compound tyres.

Lewis Hamilton spoke about issue with his Mercedes after qualifying on Saturday and he's back on the radio again reporting further troubles. Hamilton is five seconds ahead of his Silver Arrows buddy George Russell.

Sergio Perez's first go at nicking fifth place off Charles Leclerc is unsuccessful but his next attempt, roared on by thousands of Mexican fans, goes off without a hitch. Perez is on the medium tyres and is targeting Carlos Sainz next.
