The drivers are heading out to the end of the pit lane - a mixture of the slick tyres, a lot of soft tyres I can see. I can also see quite a lot of intermediates although I'm just having a look at the Williams garage. They seem to be unsure with what they're going with. I think they wanted to run the inters, they've just come off the car, maybe now going for the slick tyre so a little bit of confusion in the pit lane.
The crowds get a good eyeful of the Mercedes sliding across the circuit after carrying a bit too much speed in the slippery conditions.
George Russell put his Mercedes top while Hamilton was spinning but Max Verstappen has bumped the British driver down the order.
Fernando Alonso is quickest in the first sector but Lewis Hamilton is gaining on the Spaniard.
Whoa! The seven-time world champion spins at Stowe! He's in the gravel but manages to get going again to finish his lap.

This is the trickiest place of all to get a fast time in the wet - but we could see a drier line at the end of Q1.
With two drivers on the podium in front of the home crowd, Red Bull have extended their lead at the top of the constructors' title race to 199 points.
The fight to finish in second is still on between Mercedes and Aston Martin, with just three points separating the two teams after nine races.

Max Verstappen came away from the Red Bull Ring with 34 points in total after wins in the sprint race and main grand prix, plus the extra point for fastest lap, and now holds an 81-point advantage over team-mate Sergio Perez.
Charles Leclerc and George Russell are level on 72 points, while Lando Norris has cracked the top 10 after a strong weekend in Austria. The McLaren man pushed Alpine driver Pierre Gasly down the pecking order in the drivers' championship following his promotion to fourth.
