Lando Norris takes second after a superb drive as Sergio Perez completes the top three.
Max Verstappen wins the Chinese Grand Prix!
And a concerned-sounding Max Verstappen appears to have gone over that debris, reporting it over the radio but he is assured no damage done.
We're onto the final lap...
Zhou Guanyu is on the radio saying he wants to get 13th from Pierre Gasly, but his cause will not be helped as replays show his front wing endplate flying off.
The end is in sight with Max Verstappen cruising to victory here - he's almost 13 seconds clear of Lando Norris.

It's nice that Fernando Alonso has gone out there and thought what does this championship need, I know it needs a little bit of Fernando Alonso magic.
There's been some good fights towards the back and Pierre Gasly dives down the inside of Kevin Magnussen to get up into 13th.

I'm so impressed by Lando Norris' drive today, I did not expect to have a McLaren up in second place, we all just thought that Verstappen and Perez first and second easy, but the way the race has panned out with the safety cars has been perfect for McLaren and Norris' strategy, and they've executed it to absolute perfection.
Pierre Gasly fumes at Logan Sargeant after appearing to force him off the track as the two battle towards the back of the field.
"What an absolute idiot," Gasly says.

Norris holding on to second place, the gap just under five seconds still between him and Sergio Perez, Norris is having a brilliant race to split the Red Bulls as it currently stands.
Unless there's another incident it looks like there's not going to be much movement in the top five, everyone has a pretty health advantage over the cars behind them.
This is the top five as things stand:
1) Verstappen
2) Norris
3) Perez
4) Leclerc
5) Sainz

Sainz is running around on 31 lap old hard tyres, whereas Fernando Alonso is on 5 lap old mediums so the imbalance is massive between the two of them.
Fernando Alonso dips a wheel into the gravel and kicks up a lot of dust as he locks up. It would have been a panic for a moment, especially after Carlos Sainz spun yesterday but Alonso saves the situation well.
He then passes Lewis Hamilton into eighth and swiftly picks off Oscar Piastri to get into seventh.
Looking a great call to make that switch to fresh rubber.
Lando Norris has driven a great race and he is looking pretty safe in second. Sergio Perez is almost five seconds behind and is struggling to bring that down.

The tyre wear has been unbelievable and you can see all the marbles on the racing track, is that going to cause problems for Alonso here, he's got so much speed but those marbles are really slippery.
Fastest lap for Fernando Alonso as he makes light work of Esteban Ocon and the Aston Martin is back into the top 10.

He's got [Norris] track position at the moment but in the background you do see that very menacing figure of a Red Bull car behind you, there's still 11 laps to be completed, there's still a lot of time for Perez to close that gap.
Fernando Alonso picks off Alex Albon and he is up into 11th. Esteban Ocon is up next.

He [Alonso] will be able to fly now until the end of the race absolutely give it everything, come in with no rubber left on those medium compound tyres. Can he rescue a point or two he's currently down in 12th place. I think with the amount of laps left he could still be in the points at the end of this race.
