Lewis Hamilton, despite not being happy with his car, is up into the top 10 as he immediately gets the jump on Daniel Ricciardo, who is struggling after getting upended by Lance Stroll earlier.
No shenanigans on the restart this time and all eyes are on Fernando Alonso. He is on softs and right behind Sergio Perez in fourth.

The virtual safety car which is initially what all started this with Valtteri Bottas' car was stuck in gear, so the marshals were not able to push it back to safety position.
The safety car is in and Max Verstappen - for the third time in this race - gets to to work building his advantage out in front.

Andrew Priestley: That was an extremely long delay under the VSC and then full SC for such a simple looking retirement.
Jeremiah Kariuki: The VSC and the Safety Car has thrown the race dice into an exciting mode. Strategies have gone up in smoke and new ones have be devised.

There is damage in the RB for Yuki Tsunoda the right-rear wheel is almost off the rim as he pulls up onto the grass in Sector Two on the exit of Turns Six and Seven.
"I'm out."
"This idiot just slammed on the brake. Check wing damage."
Watching replays now and the field was all bunched up before the restart and Lance Stroll clattered right into the back of Daniel Ricciardo.
Then, just have the restart, Kevin Magnussen ran into Yuki Tsunoda's car, resulting in the latter's retirement and a puncture for Magnussen.
Chaos.

How quickly can Perez make his way past Leclerc and Norris, if he's got any chance on finishing second or even challenging Verstappen, which I don't think is possible, he's got to get past Leclerc and Norris quickly.
Yuki Tsuonoda is out of the race! He's trundling off with some damage and must of have got clipped somewhere...
Max Verstappen cracks on with rebuilding his lead out in front. Fernando Alonso, on the softs, is right up on the back of Carlos Sainz in fifth.
