I've just spoken to the team at McLaren and they are saying Piastri has picked up damage and it was down to that safety car restart. They don't know how much damage as they haven't got the car back and seen it but they are obviously losing some downforce.
Fernando Alonso pits for medium tyres and he comes back out in 12th. He has fresh rubber now for the final stint to get back into the points.
Out in front, Max Verstappen is once again cruising towards the win as his advantage is back up to eight seconds.
Charles Leclerc was getting closer to Sergio Perez, with the gap less than half a second, but Perez has just kicked on a bit and his advantage is now up to a second.

I wonder if there was more to meet the eye on that safety car restart where Stroll went into the back of the RB of Daniel Ricciardo, Piastri was the car in front of Ricciardo.
Piastri: "How much damage do I have?"
Engineer: "Damage is significant."
That's from getting tagged by Daniel Ricciardo when the latter was hit by Lance Stroll earlier.
Lewis Hamilton tries moves on inside and outside of Nico Hulkenberg but the latter defends well to hold onto ninth.

Now what will Lando Norris be told on the radio, he will be told Perez passed Leclerc, we need to maintain position and pick up the pace slightly because Sergio Perez will be coming for him.
Fernando Alonso seems pretty happy with softs, or at least says he is as he seems keen to avoid having to stop again.
A big cheer from the home fans as Zhou Guanyu dives down the inside of Logan Sargeant and he is up into 14th.
Meanwhile, Sergio Perez makes a great move to pick off Charles Leclerc at the hairpin and he is up into third.
That latest safety car scuppered Fernando Alonso gamble on softs. He's fifth and struggling to get anywhere near Sergio Perez.
Lance Stroll is in to serve his time penalty and is clearly not happy about it, calling it an "absolute joke".
Meanwhile, Sergio Perez is putting pressure on Charles Leclerc as the Red Bull looks to get into the top three. There's three tenths of a second between them.

Ricciardo really needed a good weekend, this is a double retirement so painful times for the driver who's future is a question mark at the moment with Liam Lawson giving that pressure to him.
Out in front and Max Verstappen is building up that advantage over Lando Norris again. The world champion leads by 2.6 seconds.
A cracking battle for 16th between Kevin Magnussen and Lance Stroll.
The two, who have time penalties to serve, are trading places as they fight wheel to wheel but ultimately Magnussen doesn't have the grip to keep in the battle and Stroll takes the position.
"Box, retire the car."
And now Lance Stroll and Kevin Magnussen have got 10-second penalties for causing a collision.
Daniel Ricciardo is having to pit and he is out of the race.

Fernando Alonso out there on the soft compound of tyre, what can he do, can he attack Perez, can he get past Leclerc, can he challenge Norris, he might have to stop again, we don't know what Aston Martin are thinking right now, can they make that soft tyre last till the end, or is he going to be told get past these people, get a move on as we need to stop again.
"I've got no rear on exits."
