    Mayo 0-4 Tyrone 0-5

Ryan O'Donoghue with another close-range free for his third point of the day and Mayo's fourth.

It is really hard to see either side pulling away. There is nothing at all to suggest one holds a distinct advantage over the other, and that usually makes for a good contest which is exactly what it has been so far.

Kieran McGeary sends over an almighty point from just in front of the 45. That's a pearler.

This one is following the same early script as Tyrone's semi-final against Kerry with Mayo making the sharper start only for the Red Hands then to have a good spell. Tyrone fans will be hoping that the parallels continue

It's a game of chess at the water break. The match-ups are intriguing and so far Aidan O'Shea is being well shackled by Ronan McNamee. Darren McCurry is playing like a man in fine form, and this feels like a game that's going right to the wire.

  4. Postpublished at 18 mins

    Mayo 0-3 Tyrone 0-4

Ryan O'Donoghue gets away from Michael McKernan and pops over a nice score to level it up again.

Tyrone win the kick-out and Conor McKenna plays it to Darren McCurry on the right-hand channel. McCurry is a man in form, and when you're a man in form you let instinct take over.

That's what he does here, collects, takes half a second to look up before sending a long-range left footed effort over the black spot.

  5. Postpublished at 15 mins

    Mayo 0-2 Tyrone 0-3

That is a big old chance!

Bryan Walsh is put through on goal and Niall Morgan rushes out to meet him, forcing Walsh to spin and try a low effort with his right. It deflects off Morgan into the path of Conor Loftus, but it's blocked by a scrambling Tyrone defence and they can clear.

  6. Postpublished at 13 mins

    Mayo 0-2 Tyrone 0-3

Frantic opening and good fun altogether. It takes 10 minutes for Tyrone to finally get some space in midfield with Mayo happy to sit back.

Tyrone show patience as they swing it forward and right, then back to the middle but Mayo aren't diving in. Eventually Frank Burns has a little bit of space but it's very wide and his right footed effort is neither an accurate pass or shot.

That's a win for Mayo. They go up the other end but can't level as Conor Loftus sends his effort wide.

  7. Postpublished at 11 mins

    Mayo 0-2 Tyrone 0-3

Frank Burns does brilliantly to intercept Brian McLoughlin's pass as Tyrone take back possession.

First touch for Darren McCurry, who is being watched by Padraig O'Hora, and he draws a foul before sticking over his first score and give the Ulster champions their first lead of the day.

  8. Postpublished at 9 mins

    Mayo 0-2 Tyrone 0-2

Now it's Tyrone pressing hard, and it works with Ryan O'Donoghue giving away a foul having been swarmed by three Red Hand defenders.

Tyrone work it right to Padraig Hamsey who sends over an absolute beauty with the outside of his boot. Lovely score.

    Level.

  9. Postpublished at 7 mins

    Mayo 0-2 Tyrone 0-1

Ryan O'Donoghue with a nerve-settling free to double Mayo's early lead.

Tyrone need to settle it down a bit. It's all a bit frantic and they haven't had time to look up. Finally it comes to Kieran McGeary who drives forward and draws a foul.

That brings Niall Morgan up for his first effort, and he nails it with a little help from the top of the crossbar. Tyrone on the board.

  10. Postpublished at 4 mins

    Mayo 0-1 Tyrone 0-0

Mayo going for an all-out press and it's paying off as they hassle Mattie Donnelly out of possession.

Brian Kennedy tries to wrestle it back in but only succeeds in committing a foul and earning an extremely early yellow card.

Peter Harte finds a yard for Tyrone's first shot, but it's wide.

  11. Postpublished at 2 mins

    Mayo 0-1 Tyrone 0-0

Oh dear, Niall Morgan's first kick-out is loose and then Michael McKernan sends the ball out for a 45 under duress from Ryan O'Donoghue. Bad start from Tyrone.

Mayo on the other hand have started like a freight train.

Rob Hennelly's 45 is wide though, and Mayo's lead stays at one.

  12. Postpublished at 1 min

    Mayo 0-1 Tyrone 0-0

16 seconds! Mayo wasting absolutely no time.

Tommy Conroy runs through Peter Harte and slots it over.

    Mayo v Tyrone (17:00 BST)

Croke Park is a celebration of colour and sound as the parade gets underway.

It is just how it should be.

Two teams hungry for a fourth All-Ireland, no-one on the pitch has won one.

Too tight to call. It has everything you want to be an absolute belter.

Here we go then, the showpiece of the annual footballing calendar has arrived after an enormous, elongated and often unclear build-up.

    Tyrone or Mayo?

    Mayo v Tyrone (17:00 BST)

God will have been contacted quite a lot by Mayo and Tyrone today, you'd imagine.

It is worth a reminder that if we're level at full-time today there will be two 10 minutes periods of extra-time. After which the game will go to a replay if the scores remain tied.

    No shootout today.

Both teams have strong benches but Tyrone have the finishers on their bench where Mayo sway more towards strong mid-third runners. I would still be happier with what Tyrone could bring to the fray come those potentially frantic final 15 minutes.

Match ups have been the talk of the build-up. Hampsey on O'Shea? O'Hora on McCurry?

We're not far away from finding out - All-Ireland winner Oisin McConville has had his say.

A Ballinderry farmer felt the need to make it very clear that his land did not fall into the Tyrone part of the village this week.

Feel like everyone has some sort of emotional connection to this one - so who are you supporting?

Thumbs up if you're cheering for Mayo
