U16 girls - Ole United 2-5 Frampton Rangers

    Alex Ewing
    BBC Get Inspired

In the second final of the day Ole United battled it out with Frampton Rangers. The two teams dominated the group stages, so expectations were high for the final.

Ole United took the lead with a brilliant long range strike from Leah, nestled in the bottom corner after a beautiful cut back allowing Leah to run onto the ball at pace. Frampton Rangers, however, didn't let this bother them and came back strongly and three quick goals from Ruby, Abby and Maddy took Frampton into a 3-1 lead to the delight of their cheering parents on the sideline.

However, the game was thrown wide open when a deflected strike from Molly pulled a goal back for Ole United leading to a tense last 5 minutes. At the end of any final, heroes can be born, up stepped Abby and Maddy from Frampton Rangers to both score their second goals of the game and win the FA People's Cup!

  20. Midtown United Disability FCpublished at 13:05 Greenwich Mean Time 20 March 2016

Midtown United Football Club have been a club running in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire for over 30 years and recently formed their first disability section, when current manager, Kieran Robson, joined the club from another local team.

Now coming to the end of their second season, Midtown United have reached the Adult Disability finals and believe their unexpected run to the finals has been a great experience, bringing the team closer together in the process.

The club also hope their efforts in the Cup will shed a brighter light on the team, and hope to expand our squad to cater for all types of players who struggle to compete within a mainstream setting.

    Good luck!
