St Johns Wood celebrate winning the U16 boys category in the FA People's Cup

St Johns Wood took control of the game early on and never eased up as goals from Alex and Theo gave them breathing space against their dogged rivals.

The middle part of the game turned into a chess encounter as both teams began to tire in the Sheffield sun.

But the game was effectively sealed when Shane played a neat one-two on the edge of the area with a Josh before firing home to open up a three-goal lead.

Pompey Chimes pulled a goal back late on but it was not enough.

St John's Wood are the deserved winners and earned themselves a trip down the Jubilee Line to Wembley.

Pompey Chimes may have lost their U16 Boys Final but you could mistake their winger for Lionel Messi after this trickery and follow-up finish.

U14 Girls Final - Harvesters Ladies 3-1 Doncaster Belles

    Abigail Payet
    Our reporter on the ground

In the U14 Girls final, Harvesters U14 Ladies took on Doncaster Belles in a tense match. Both teams played a strategic game but it was Harvesters who took the winning title.

Seeming to stride ahead with an early goal Harvesters' remained firmly in the lead, but not for long. The Doncaster Belles soon saw a contending goal to the back of the net bringing the score to a draw. As the play became defensive, anticipation for a winning goal was sky-high on the sidelines.

That was until Harvesters Ladies' number 14 tip-toed her way past Doncaster's defence with great style to strike a stunning goal for her team. And her work was not done there! Just minutes later, Number 14 took the Harvesters' girls firmly into the winning position with a fantastic strike directly past the Doncaster goalkeeper. It was this third and final goal of the game which secured Harvesters U14 Ladies victory in the FA People's Cup.
