    The secret to Bubba Watson's success is that he now treats golf as a "bonus", external according to his close friend, Rickie Fowler. One week before winning the Masters in 2012, Watson and his partner adopted their first child, Caleb.

    "I think that over the past couple years, with winning here and having Caleb, adopting him, it's definitely kind of been a progression for changing into something good for him," says Fowler.

    Watson, 35, is bidding to become only the 17th man to win the famous Green Jacket more than once.

    The sun beats down as patrons sip beer and soda from plastic Masters mugs. Many clutch tall towers of these $3 mementoes.

    "Fore please, Bubba Watson now driving". He takes the applause and his caddie steps in for a quick final word. No pink driver today, a three wood. Watson winds up. "Bubba boom" shouts someone. "Geddinthehole" another. Don't get much of that at the Masters. But Bubba's boomed it into the bundu.
