  1. Birdie for Thomaspublished at 20:16 British Summer Time 12 August 2018

    J Thomas -10, S Lowry -8 (5)

Pretty much jinxed Shane Lowry a moment ago there, as the Irishman dribbles a par putt wide at five to drop back to eight under.

No mistake for Justin Thomas... the American comes at his birdie effort from the opposite side of the cup, and tickles it right into the heart of the hole before waving to the crowd surrounding the green in appreciation. Lovely stuff.

  2. Solid starts for Rahm and Fowlerpublished at 20:16 British Summer Time 12 August 2018

    J Rahm -9, R Fowler -9 (3)

A rapid start would have been the ideal for the majorless pairing Jon Rahm and Rickie Fowler.

They have been more Mo Farah than Usain Bolt in their darts from the start line.

Rahm has another makeable birdie putt on the third... again it just misses the cup. Count to 10 and stay calm Jon...

Fowler has a tiddler of a par putt and knocks that in with ease.

    T Woods -10 (3)

Back in the sand off the fairway at the fourth for Tiger Woods, a long par four and he's struggling to skip one up to the green from there. That brief birdie run looks like coming to a halt.

    S Lowry -9, J Thomas -9 (4)

After an electric start, both Shane Lowry and Justin Thomas have settled into a rhythm on the final day at Bellerive with three pars each since those opening birdies.

    They're four shots back.

  6. Birdie for Koepkapublished at 20:08 British Summer Time 12 August 2018

    B Koepka -13, A Scott -9 (1)

Wonder if Brooks Koepka is aware of what's going on up ahead? Imagine he's trying to focus on his own game, and on maintaining that lead.

A bullet drive to start the day for the US Open champion. He then seamlessly finds the good stuff and sets up an early birdie chance.

This would be the perfect start to the day - and he downs it from 10 feet! That lead moves to three strokes.

  7. Bogey for Scottpublished at 20:08 British Summer Time 12 August 2018

    A Scott -9 (1)

Adam Scott trades place with Tiger, dropping down into the pack on nine under after a bogey on the first. Not the start he dreamed about while he was lying in bed last night.

  8. Birdie for Cinkpublished at 20:07 British Summer Time 12 August 2018

    S Cink -9 (3)

Stewart Cink gets his share of the twos kitty by birdieing the third. More importantly, he gets a share of tied three along with eight other men. Oh no, Tiger's left the group.. seven other men.

  9. Birdie for Woodspublished at 20:06 British Summer Time 12 August 2018

    T Woods -10 (3)

No mistake from there for Tiger. He prods in from a few feet to make it back-to-back birdies.

Woods moves to within two strokes of the lead, briefly...

    What. A. Shot.

Tiger Woods flips his tee shot at the par-three third to a halt a few feet from the cup. It almost dropped straight in...

    D Johnson -5 (10)

Dustin Johnson has the big dog out on the 11th tee - and lashes it past the green about 350 yards away.

The world number one is level par for the day, five under for the tournament. The pre-tournament favourite won't be winning his second major today.

    T Woods -9, G Woodland -9 (2)

Ding, ding. Down it goes for Tiger Woods. A confident putt from the 14-time major champion as he fizzes it home for birdie. He's up and running, and three off the lead.

  13. Koepka aims to stay hotpublished at 19:57 British Summer Time 12 August 2018

Brooks Koepka is the man currently top of tree - can he see out victory for a third major in little over a year?

The American leads by two shots going into the final day at Bellerive, despite two late bogeys giving hope to the rest of the field.

"I'm just focused on me. I feel like, if I do what I'm supposed to, I should win the golf tournament," Koepka said.

"I feel like I'm extremely confident. I like the way I'm hitting the ball."

"I just have to stay in the moment, don't think about anything else, just come out and play."

    J Rahm -9, R Fowler -9 (1)

Mammoth drive from Jon Rahm leaving the Spaniard a good look at the pin. He gently dinks on to the smooth stuff, but he's unable to tickle it home for a mid-range birdie.

Rickie Fowler leaves his tee shot right, but is also on the dancefloor - and he leaves his birdie putt short, too. A few more rotations and that was a goner.

  15. Birdie chance for Woodspublished at 19:56 British Summer Time 12 August 2018

    G Woodland -9, T Woods -8 (1)

Tiger Woods' tee shot at the second stops short of the creek lurking down the left-hand side of the fairway.

Shooting for the pin, Woods fires his approach to within 10 feet and watches it fizz to a halt amid a backdrop of Tiger-crazy fans cheering and whistling.

    Birdie chance...

  16. Solid week for Knoxpublished at 19:54 British Summer Time 12 August 2018

    R Knox -4 (18)

Steady if not spectacular week from Scotland's Russell Knox. After an opening one-over 71, the world number 55 finished under par on each of the final three days to finish in the red.

A two-under 68 today puts him on the cusp on the top 30.

  17. Everyone is playing for Jarrod - Scottpublished at 19:52 British Summer Time 12 August 2018

    A Scott -10 (tee time 19:55)

What a story it would be if Adam Scott wins today. The Australian, now ranked 76th in the world, hasn't had a top-five finish at a PGA Tour event in almost two years and needed a special exemption to play at Bellerive.

The 2013 Masters champion has made the most of his opportunity by shooting a 10-under total of 200 over the first days.

And a victory for Scott would be particularly poignant following the death of fellow Aussie Jarrod Lyle this week.

"It would be more than twice the thrill for me to win as an Aussie in honor of Jarrod, but I think no matter who wins tomorrow, I think if that person has met Jarrod Lyle, then they will have felt something with him passing this week," said Scott.

"I don't even really know if we have all really had time to reflect on it and let it sink in. But I think that a part of everyone's playing for Jarrod out here this week."

    T Hatton -8 (13)

Here's a name we didn't expect to see muscling in on the leaders today... Tyrrell Hatton.

Three birdies on the bounce since the turn for the Englishman, four in his last five holes, and he's currently five under for the day.

It lifts Hatton to eight under par - four off the lead.

  20. Birdie for Daypublished at 19:50 British Summer Time 12 August 2018

    J Day -9 (2)

Jason Day is another Aussie aiming for a poignant win in the week which compatriot Jarrod Lyle died... and he's already on the birdie trail. The 2015 PGA champion confidently rolls in an 18-foot putt on the second which puts him in the ever-growing pack on nine under...
