    Woods -11, Poulter -8 (17)

On to the 18th then for Tiger, and he's followed by what feels like almost every patron at Augusta National today. A whip and a crack down the middle from Woods off the tee.

Ian Poulter opts for his driver, and kicks on a little beyond his playing partner.

  3. Eagle chance...published at 23:00 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Koepka -8 (14) Scott -9 (14)

Brooks Koepka dropped one on 14 and hence decides to take his anger out on 15. He's battered this second shot over the flag and to within 10ft for EAGLE. Big putt to come...

Adam Scott is right of the green and will need to get up and down for birdie.

To the 18th and Tiger thrilling the masses...

  4. Postpublished at 22:58 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Woods -11, Poulter -8 (17)

Par for Tiger Woods. It's almost a shock when he doesn't make birdie now...

On to the last and he's one shot off the lead.

Ian Poulter almost claws a stroke back at the 17th, but his putt flirts with the cup and then decides to stay up. Par it if for the Postman.

  5. Birdiepublished at 22:56 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Johnson -9 (15)

You still can't write Dustin Johnson off. As Andrew Cotter says on BBC Two, "he's hanging around".

DJ doesn't leave his birdie putt hanging around on 15. He's in and he's at nine under.

    Very much in it.

  6. Molinari takes the leadpublished at 22:53 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Molinari -12, Day -9 (14)

Francesco Molinari is the most relaxed man in Georgia.

Not a bead of sweat on the Italian as he rattles in another birdie putt from eight feet to take the lead. Such composure.

    Magnificent.

    Woods -11, Poulter -8 (16)

"Go, go, go..." begs Tiger Woods as he clips his second shot to the 17th green. It digs in, but not quite where he'd want it to. Work to do for a birdie here...

  9. Scott misses birdie puttpublished at 22:49 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Scott -9, Koepka -8 (14)

Big, biiiiig birdie chance for Adam Scott at the 14th. But it scuttles on by! The golfer could've moved within one of the lead had that dropped... he remains at nine under.

Brooks Koepka can't dig himself out of the trouble in time to salvage par. He bogeys.

  10. Two in the clubhouse...published at 22:47 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Kuchar -8 Mickelson -6 (both after 18)

A little beauty from Big Phil on 18, downing a putt across the green to end two under for the day, six under in all. Matt Kuchar may be tempted to dream when he goes to bed as he's three off the pace after a brilliant run of scoring on the back nine.

  11. Flawless Frankiepublished at 22:47 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Molinari -11 (13)

Not that I'm counting, but Francesco Molinari has gone 38 holes without a bogey. The only blot on his copybook was a dropped shot at the 11th hole on Thursday!

  12. Bogeypublished at 22:45 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Schauffele -9 (15)

How many will Xander Schauffele give up after getting wet on 15. What a time to make a mistake that was. He plays from the penalty zone and it's safe, leaving maybe 15ft for so for a par. Low percentage this one...and the numbers play out. Back to nine under.

  13. 'It's just magic'published at 22:45 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Woods -11 (16)

    Andrew Magee
PGA Tour winner on BBC Radio 5 live

No question that everyone on the course will know what that roar meant. Tiger Woods. It's just magic. It is rare vintage stuff we are getting to see here today.

He knows the field will not run away from him. He has stayed patient and he knows over the course of 72 holes he will be there.

  14. Woods joins the leadpublished at 22:45 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Woods -11, Poulter -8 (16)

Tiger Woods then, after a near-perfect tee shot to the 16th green.

This for a share of the lead... straight into the heart of the cup! And the four-time champion almost allows himself a little skip in celebration.

Almost... it's back to the poker face as he walks off as a member of the leading trio.

  15. Ugly from Brooks...published at 22:43 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Koepka -8 (13) Scott -9 (13)

Brooks Koepka in trouble too. He's under a tree canopy and gets greedy, trying to lift one forward, only for it to smack a branch and ricochet out into the fairway. He pings his third shot in and will have 15ft for par.

Adam Scott has eight feet for birdie. News though of a Tiger on the loose...

  16. Postpublished at 22:42 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Iain Carter
BBC Sport golf correspondent at Augusta National

The sound echoing around Augusta from the Tiger Woods and Ian Poulter pairing will be heard by Francesco Molinari who is now tied for a share of the lead.

The question is will Tiger Woods be joining them?

  17. Molinari takes share of leadpublished at 22:42 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Molinari -11 (13)

    Frankie!

Molinari ties the lead, zipping in a short putt to move to 11 under par and then celebrating by sharing a modest fist bump with his caddie.

The Open champion is sizing up that Green Jacket.

  18. Splash!published at 22:41 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Schauffele -10 (14)

The par fives. You have to get them right. You don't need to get wet that's for sure. Xander Schauffele finds the green but he knows when he says "get legs" that his ball will roll back to the water. It does and he's now in danger of a calamity.
