    Woods -10, Poulter -8 (15)

Tiger Woods is really taking his time over this tee shot at the par-three 16th. He sizes it up, moves away again and then trots back over to his ball before lashing it into the heart of the green and watching it stick five or six feet from the flag.

This for a slice of the lead...

Tommy Fleetwood talking to BBC Sport after his round of 70: "I’m a long way back but it’s been steady. I haven’t played as well as I’d have liked to and not hit enough solid shots on a consistent basis.

"I’ve always done a couple of things wrong on each round but at the same time there is still a day to go and I can have a good one.

"You turn up some weeks and your timing isn’t right. The thing with this course is that it is difficult to get your bearings all the time. You have very few flat lies or straight shots to the green. It is OK to hit shots on a range but not one shot out there is like that.

"It was there for the taking today. If you’re going to shoot a score this was the day to do it on. So finishing on two under for the day is disappointing when you are trying to get yourself up there."
