  1. Lead grows!published at 21:38 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Finau -11 (15)

The lead goes to 11 under. Tony Finau putts from the state of Florida and after an age leaves himself with around eight feet for birdie. It's one to tickle, it will move right, left, back again... in.

  2. Bogey for Poulterpublished at 21:37 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Woods -8, Poulter -6 (11)

Tiger's just not hit it... after that lucky break in the trees and a superb approach to the green, Woods leaves his birdie putt short from 11 feet and taps in for par.

Ian Poulter is in a spot of trouble, his chip didn't make it over the lip of the green and he'll putt for par from the fringes. It stays up.

  3. Big hitting Tony!published at 21:34 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Finau -10 (14)

Tony Finau is one of the biggest hitters on the PGA Tour and so he makes mince meat of 530 yards on the 15th. He's on the green with an eagle putt to come from around 50ft. Surely he will stretch his advantage here?

Has anybody hit more shots off line and had open windows to the target than Tiger Woods?

That was a big break. I think his angle was better than from off the fairway.

    Woods -8, Poulter -7 (10)

Tiger Woods, lucky boy. How about that for a lie after misjudging his tee shot. And sure enough he coaxes it right up towards the pin for a shot at birdie...

  8. Birdie for Molinaripublished at 21:29 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Molinari -9, Day -7 (8)

Here he comes, old Frankie Molinari... the Ryder Cup hero sinks a birdie putt at eight and that takes him to nine under par, just on stroke off the lead.

Jason Day can't believe it, he looked certain to roll in birdie himself but it circles the rim of the cup and flings back out. How did that stay up?!

  9. Postpublished at 21:27 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Woods -8, Poulter -7 (10)

Tiger Woods makes it to the green in two but two putts for par at the 10th. Ian Poulter follows up with a par of his own. Easy does it.

  10. Birdies!published at 21:25 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Fowler -8 (15) Mickelson -6 (12)

What did we say a few entries ago? Lefty needs a birdie... he gets one on 12. Around 10ft negotiated with break on the par three.

The par fives have to be bossed now with such a stacked board and Rickie Fowler does that on 15 to get to within one of the lead.

  11. 'Tiger's in the treees'published at 21:25 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Peter Scrivener
    BBC Sport at Augusta National

I nipped out to see Tiger Woods and Ian Poulter come down the ninth.

Jon Rahm was on the green, holing a decent two-putt par. While Patton Kizzire was lining up his par putt the whispers started.

"Tiger's in the trees." Immediately, dozens of heads turn right, to look 180 yards off into the distance, squinting through the sun - it's turned into a scorcher out there.

There's Tiger, he is in the woods. He smashes up towards the green. Decent line, everyone willing the ball on. It thuds into the slope and stops 10 yards short of the green. In drier conditions that would've rolled back another 40 yards,

Poulter up next. From the fairway, drills pin high, 20-25 feet right of the pin. Barely a murmur from the patrons.

Both are welcomed to the green. Tiger's chip on, not quite enough. Poults is walking after his birdie shy, knowing it's in. The cheer is matched moments later by Tiger's tap-in for par.

And with that, the vast majority move on, away to the 10th as they head down to Amen Corner, which is exactly where I'm going back to now...

  12. Birdie for Koepkapublished at 21:24 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Scott -7, Koepka -8 (8)

So close to a birdie at the eighth for Adam Scott, leaving the flag in on the green but just edging his putt to the left of the cup. He swings his putter round in disbelief.

Brooks Koepka's up and down round continues... birdie at six, bogey at seven, but he's back to eight under with a birdie at eight!

  13. 'Poulter saw how to play that'published at 21:18 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Paul Azinger
1993 PGA Championship winner from Augusta

Ian Poulter saw how to play that approach in to 10. And was a bit more aggressive with a lot less club.

    But he didn't like it.

  14. Birdie for Olesenpublished at 21:18 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Olesen -7 (15)

Now then, Thorbjorn Olesen fancies a slice of the leaderboard and adds his name to the list of players currently at seven under par. He's five under for the day.

  15. Classic Phil...published at 21:17 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Mickelson -5 (11)

Phil Mickelson plays the 11th hole in a way only he can. Deep into trees off the tee, onto the dancefloor with his second and then a putt he has no right to make looks in but hangs up.

He's one under for his day but the scoring out here is pretty relentless and he needs to pick a few up.

  16. Postpublished at 21:14 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Fowler -7 (14)

Here's that Rickie Fowler eagle from earlier... he's currently seven under through 14.

  18. Spieth in at four underpublished at 21:13 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Spieth -4 (F)

Jordan Spieth is just about clinging on in the distance after a strong back nine at Augusta on Saturday. The 2015 champion made four birdies after the turn to drag himself to four under par. Easy to forget he's still only 25...

  20. 'The players are taking it to the course'published at 21:08 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

Three-time major winner Padraig Harrington on BBC Two:

"The organisers would love to dry the greens out. At the moment with no wind the players are taking it to the course."
