There's a problem with Definitly Red, he's pulled up! He's out.
The joint favourite Definitly Red has been pulled up. A lot of money gone there.
The Last Samuri is well placed in the early running. Roi Des Francs leads though. Thunder And Roses also looking good.
The Young Master is a faller at fence seven.
Vicente is a faller at the front and More Of That hits the third hard but hangs on.

Maybe this time we will get a start of the Grand National .... he's let them go! Grand National is under way.
Vicente and Cocktails At Dawn are down at the first fence.
And we are belatedly underway. The winner of the 2017 Grand National is nine minutes from glory.

Andrew Priestley: Pleasant Company looks like being best value with Saint Are, Lord Windermere and Wounded Warrior decent outside choices.
Francis Mulvaney: Put a bet on One For Arthur at the Grand National for my grandad in the sky #bbcracing
Raz De Maree and The Young Master go too early this time.

They've burst the tape and the starter isn't happy. It's a recall here.
Nope. All a little too eager.

They're all now assembled in the starting area. A lot of them will have a look at the first fence.
Lord Windemere is belatedly trotting out to join the rest.
He is going to make the start but that is not the ideal preparation.
The field are coming down to size up the first.
Equine ears pricked. Human eyes a little wider. They head back to take the starter's orders.
It looks like Blaklion and Definitly Red will go off as 10-1 joint favourites.
Lord Windermere is looking reluctant. His handlers are still trying to convince him to trot out in front of the grandstands.
The occasion might have got to him. Not a good sign for his backers.
