    Somewhere in Windsor Castle, the television was up loud and the voices were raised just a few decibels higher than protocol usually demands.

    The Queen's horse Tactical came home for the monarch and for once she was not in the stands to salute a winner.

    Fujaira Prince is on the comeback trail in his first race since coming third in the Duke of Edinburgh Stakes at last year's Royal Ascot. Taking top weight is Collide who was an impressive winner at Chelmsford last week and has Frankel's DNA in his bloodline.

    Ranch Hand, trained by Andrew Balding, is right up at the top of the market alongside those two.

He jumped really well from the stalls and was a true professional for a horse who has run only one time before."

    Winning trainer Andrew Balding: "It is very exciting. We talk to her on race day and she is well informed and knowledgeable. He ran with promise at Newmarket and this track suited him even more."

    A short-distance sprint thrown into the set list now with the Windsor Castle Stakes.

    Trainer Wesley Ward brings Sunshine City and Sheriff Bianco to the party and both are well fancied.

    Rival Aidan O'Brienknows his way to the winners' enclosure however after victories in this race with Washington DC and Southern Hills in 2015 and 2019 respectively. He saddles Chief Little Hawk and Hyde Park Barracks.
