    15:35 Royal Hunt Cup (1m)

Dark Vision won the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood a couple of years back and looked good on his post-suspension comeback at Newcastle. William Buick is on board.

What's The Story - could it be glory for Callum Rodriguez and trainer Keith Dalgleish.

Lord Tennyson is set to go off as the 11-2 favourite, rather fittingly in this mile-long cavalry charge.

It is a big field though and they are still milling about on the outside of the stalls.

    Prince of Wales's Stakes

Winning trainer John Gosden: "This horse had to be gelded and he is a great character now, Bangkok set a very strong pace and it was an end-to-end gallop that suited us. We will look at all possibilities for him and we will watch him over the next 10 days becasue two quick races like this one and Haydock can make them lose their zest."

Winning jockey James Doyle: "As the gates opened, the whole complexion of the race changed wtih Japan missing the break and Bangkok hitting the front. It was a truly run race. He travelled into it great. I would like to ride him again put it that way!"

    Prince of Wales's Stakes

Jockey James Doyle is all grins as he dismounts in the winners' enclosure. The connections of Japan will be decidedly more glum. The favourite had a horror show, missing the start, busy in midfield and then lagging to a fourth-place finish.

John Gosden has prepped Lord North to perfection there. The 5-1 shot showed remarkable accleration a furlong out and no-one had any response.

The handlers are still herding the field towards the stalls. It is like an equine baggage reclaim as they wait to try and grab their charge and ease them into the starting gate.

    Japan is looking toasty warm.

  18. Wednesday - Race Fourpublished at 14:45 British Summer Time 17 June 2020

15:00 BST: Prince of Wales' Stakes (1m2f)

The big one. And we'll have commentary on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra.

Addeybb spent the early part of the year in Australia, picking up a couple of Group One sucesses while the UK scene was on lockdown. Does that little sojourn make him the biggest threat to favourite Japan?

Japan finished fourth in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe as a three-year-old and arrives at Royal Ascot having won the King Edward VII Stakes 12 months ago.

Barney Roy has good form at Royal Ascot and might figure in the final equation.

  19. 'He is still very inexperienced'published at 14:38 British Summer Time 17 June 2020

    King George V Stakes

Winning jockey Jim Crowley: "It is going great! I am very lucky to be riding for such a great owner. Hukum has only had two runs and we threw him in at the deep end but he is a nice big scopey horse. We will have to see if he will have the experience to handle the cambers of Epsom."

Trainer Owen Burrows: "We will have a think at the Derby, but he is still very inexperienced."

    King George V Stakes

It looked like Kipps might have got the measure of Hukum as he pulled up to the bumper on the home straight, but Jim Crowley coaxed a little more out of the winner to clinch victory.

It is a first Royal Ascot winner for trainer Owen Burrows.
