    Silver Wokingham Handicap

Well, your chances went early there on two of the leading contenders.

Swindler was withdrawn before the start after playing up, while Blue Mist emerged slowly from the stalls.

Chiefofchiefs is a second winner of the meeting for trainer Charlie Fellowes and a 25th career Royal Ascot victory for jockey William Buick.

NOTE: Horses drawn high filled the places - the first four coming from stalls 15, 24, 21, and 12.

    12:40 Silver Wokingham Stakes (6f)

The opening race on day five is one of the six extras which have been added to the 2020 card and is for horses who missed out on the Wokingham Stakes itself at 16:10.

Swindler for Andrea Atzeni and trainer Ed Walker was fancied despite carrying top weight, although has preferred to head to the start without his rider. Atzeni has jogged down the track!

Owned by Bjorn Nielsen, who also owns superstar stayer Stradivarius, Swindler won two races on the Ascot track last year.

Aplomb, ridden by Tom Marquand and trained by William Haggas has more to give from his reappearance and will be among the dangers.

And Blue Mist, trained by Roger Charlton and ridden by Jason Watson, is another who has good claims.
