From the second Northern Ireland throw, Mbabu breaks down the right and plays a brilliant low cross towards the back post.

Embolo is there but he rushes his effort and it's well over the top. That really should have been game, set and match right there.

In a rare breather from the Swiss attacks, Northern Ireland have a couple of throws on the right but they come to nothing.

Copy and paste. Another Shaqiri corner finds a team-mate on the edge of the box.

This time it's Zuber, and he powers an effort towards goal and defender Elvedi flicks it on.

This time it loops just over the bar, but you feel a second is coming if NI can't start to get out of their own half.

Where would NI be without Bailey Peacock-Farrell?

Shaqiri's corner comes off Ciaron Brown, and it falls to Embolo on the edge of the area.

It's a good strike but it takes a touch on the way through off goalscorer Zuber and Peacock-Farrell makes a brilliant, reactive stop to clear the ball away.

There's not been a lot of positives from the game tonight, but Ciaron Brown has been really solid in the flurry of Swiss attacks.

Northern Ireland have struggled to get out of their half in the opening 20 minutes of this first half.

Switzerland are really making their extra man count and the visitors are doing well to keep them out, with Bailey Peacock-Farrell once again making a big save for his country.

There is nothing to suggest this might change and the tone has been set for a rearguard action - which is fine if you have something to hold on to, but NI need a goal.

Josh Magennis has replaced Conor Washington up front and will no doubt be as willing to work as he ever is, but it will be a lonely job up there for him.

Proper order.

Here comes Josh Magennis in Northern Ireland's first change.

Conor Washington is the man to make way after a tireless, yet relatively unproductive shift up top on his own.

Kevin Mbabu has plenty of space about 25 yards out and lets fly with few options for him.

It's a clean and crisp strike which wasn't a million miles away, but it looked like Peacock-Farrell had it covered.

Half an hour to play.

This could be a long 30 minutes with the Swiss currently camped in the Northern Ireland half.
