With Glenn Irwin sitting this one out (nobody will hold that against him, it's still miserable out there!) it's another wide-open battle for the win.
Seeley for the double? Or can someone else take advantage of the conditions?

Well, that wasn't a bad way to start the North West! It may be dull and dreary but the racing was anything but!

Well done, too, to Davey Todd in second and Jeremy McWilliams in third.

Quote MessageI couldn't see much on that final lap but it was so much fun to be in amongst them. Fair play to the boys who dominated - I couldn't have gone much faster!
Jeremy McWilliams, Third place, Supersport race
Quote MessageWow. You couldn't have thrown any worse conditions at me but I had a good Yamaha and I think experience showed. I knew Davey Todd would come into this event strongly as he has confidence and he pushed me all the way.
Alastair Seeley, NW200 Supersport winner
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a first winner at the North West 200 since 2019.
And it's Alastair Seeley who extends his record number of wins on this circuit to 25 with what is his 13th Supersport victory.
Davey Todd gave it all he had to finish second with Jeremy McWilliams in third and Adam McLean fourth.
The slipsteam had helped Davey Todd on that third lap as he surged past Alastair Seeley to take the lead and held Seeley off as he looked to nip in front of him.
Eventually, though, Seeley has overtaken him and has the lead as we go into the fourth and final lap.

It's Alastair Seeley vs Davey Todd for the lead and Jeremy McWilliams vs Adam McLean for third! Two great battles.
Will the experienced heads of Seeley and McWIlliams come out on top or can the young challengers of Todd and McLean prevail?
We've got ourselves a proper race on our hands here at the end of lap two.
Just as it was first time around, Alastair Seeley and Davey Todd are out in front, with record wins holder Seeley currently with the edge.
Jeremy McWilliams still in striking distance in third.
Can't take your eyes off this one.

Quote MessageJeremy McWilliams knows better at his age to be out doing this but he's using all his experience out there to keep in with the leaders.
It's Alastair Seeley, Davey Todd and Jeremy McWilliams as one-two-three at the end of the first lap.
Michael Dunlop was back in 12th and he has now come in and his race is finished.
What a start that is from Davey Todd as he opens up an early lead from Alastair Seeley in second and now Adam McClean in third.
Keep an eye on Jeremy McWilliams, too, as he is looking strong.
