    Semple Stadium, 14:00 GMT

Antrim hurlers begin their Allianz League campaign with a Division 1B clash against defending champions and four-in-a-row All-Ireland kingpins Limerick at Semple Stadium in Thurles.

The game was switched to the Tipperary venue because of ongoing work at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick.

Limerick are expected to only have a handful of their All-Ireland heroes from last July in action today but will still represent a huge challenge for Darren Gleeson's side.

The Antrim boss will be without Dunloy men Nigel Elliott, Ryan Elliott, Seaan Elliott, Keelan Molloy and Eoin O'Neill for the league campaign Joe Maskey and Domhnall Nugent also having declared themselves unavailable. That's not to mention the absence of the now-retired Neil McManus.

Gleeson's starting side only has one League debutant in the shape of Cushendall man Fred McCurry at corner-forward but the line-up still looks a little short on experience.

With Ryan Elliott missing, Tiernan Smyth starts between the posts while relative newcomers Rory McCloskey and Conor Boyd are also named in the 15.

The bench includes precocious Cushendall attacking talent Joseph McLaughlin.

    Antrim: T Smyth; P Duffin, R McCloskey, P Burke; S Walsh, R McGarry, C Boyd; S Rooney, N O'Connor; R McMullan, A O'Brien, N McKenna; C Cunning, C McCann, F McCurry.

Antrim footballers are hoping to build on their strong start to their Allianz League campaign when they host Offaly this afternoon.

Andy McEntee's side finished strongly last time out to overcome Limerick 2-14 to 2-7 away from home, as they outscored their Munster opponents 1-4 to 0-1 in the last 15 minutes.

Today's opponents Offaly are in search of their first win of the competition, having lost 1-11 to 0-10 last time out against Westmeath. They also have named the same starting 15 as last week.

If either side makes any changes between now and throw-in, we will keep you updated.
