  1. Cliffords on Kerry bench for Clones clashpublished at 12:48 Greenwich Mean Time 4 February

Monaghan v Kerry, Clones, 13:00 GMT

Every year Monaghan are the favourites to be relegated from Division One of the Allianz Football League but over the last 10 seasons they have defied all expectations to remain at the top table.

None more so than last weekend as they headed into the lion's den of Croke Park to take on the All-Ireland champions, Dublin and in a fashion only the Farney men can, they left headquarters as 3-9 to 1-14 winners.

It's no surprise that Vinny Corey makes no changes to that side for the visit of last year's All-Ireland finalists, Kerry. Michael Bannigan and Jack McCarron remain in attack as last weekend's young matchwinner Ciaran McNulty again starts from the bench.

Jack O'Connor brings his Kerry side north to face Ulster opposition for the second week in a row, after last week's home defeat by Derry.

The big news in his selection is the surprise inclusion of the Clifford brothers David and Paudie on the Kingdom bench. They missed last weekend's opening defeat and the word was that they wouldn't be featuring today either.

In terms of his starting line-up, O'Connor makes four changes from last weekend. Paul Murphy comes in at centre back, Diarmuid O'Connor is recalled at midfield while, exciting young forwards, Ronan Buckley and Conor Geaney join the attack.

If, there are any changes closer to throw-in, we'll bring you up to speed.

    Monaghan: D McDonnell; R Wylie, K Lavelle, R O'Toole; R McAnespie, K Duffy (capt), K Loughran; J Wilson, G Mohan; S O'Hanlon, M Bannigan, M Hamill; D Garland, J McCarron, J Irwin.

    Kerry: S Ryan; G O'Sullivan, J Foley, D Casey; T O'Sullivan, P Murphy, G White; D O'Connor, J O'Connor; R Buckley, D Geaney, C Burke; C Geaney, S O'Shea (capt), D Moynihan.

  2. Harte's Derry face Tyrone on bumper day of actionpublished at 12:42 Greenwich Mean Time 4 February

    Allianz Football and Hurling Leagues

Derry's date with Tyrone stood out when the Allianz Football League fixtures were announced before Christmas and the day is upon us as Mickey Harte prepares to face his former Tyrone charges at Celtic Park.

Is this just another game for Mickey Harte or will thoughts of times past with his native county be mulling through his head today?

He has insisted that taking the Derry job wasn't a case of settling old scores with the Tyrone county board after they pushed out the three-time All-Ireland winning manager in late 2020.

But there's bound to a real sense of occasion in the city venue and a huge crowd will surely be in place when the ball is thrown in at 15:45 GMT.

Of course, it's far from the only big game today. Monaghan and Kerry are first up at 13:00 in Clones and we'll also have regular updates on the all-Ulster Division Two clash between Cavan and Donegal plus Antrim's Division Three encounter with Offaly at Corrigan Park.

Not forgetting the start of the Allianz Hurling League with Antrim travelling to Limerick to face the four-in-a-row All-Ireland champions in what will be the toughest of openers even though John Kiely will be without most of his regular stars.

Stay with us and watch the action unfold.
