Team NZ
Here come New Zealand, draped in some sort of furs. Must be up there in terms of medals/population?
Aim: Get a nice shot of the South African athletes as they walk past.
Result: Oh!
Did Mozambique forget their opening ceremony outfits and take a last minute trip to the high street?
Joe Clarke is a Kayaker for Team GB.
Malaysia keep it orange.
After a brilliantly choreographed opening ceremony before the athletes walked in, it's a bit of a jumbled mess inside the Maracana as they fill up the centre of the stadium.
We are up to Mauritania, Mexico now. Huge cheer for them...

Owen Reeman: This opening ceremony is a terrific spectacle! Hopefully a sign of things to come in the games!
Zeb Bowyer: Jamaica have just come out, and they have no Bobsleigh team! What sort of Olympics is this? ...
Huge cheers for first Italy and then Jamaica - no sign of Usain Bolt in the stadium though.
Compatriot Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce carries the Jamaican flag and she can win her third 100m title this year. An incredible achievement.
Boxer Paddy Barnes leads out the Ireland team, who won six medals in London four years ago. Can they top that?
A lot of countries play it safe with a tracksuit, but some go all out. Take a bow, Indonesia...
Nope, just a Bulgarian look-a-like athlete

Although he has resorted to a two-handed hold there. This isn't backhand practice, Andrew.
