Sir Bradley Wiggins and Katherine Grainger are two of 27 British Olympic Champions from London 2012 selected for Rio 2016 with double gold medallists Jason Kenny, Laura Trott, Mo Farah and Charlotte Dujardin also in the team.
Other returning champions include Jessica Ennis-Hill and Greg Rutherford as well as two-time Wimbledon champion Andy Murray.
In total 151 athletes and 65 medallists from London 2012 will compete with 13 silver medallists and 25 bronze medallists, including eight from the women’s hockey team, returning.

A lot of you are discussing the metal cylinders that, I have to admit, do look like cheese graters.
Of course they are not, they are towers where the athletes will deposit their seeds for the Olympic forest.

Germany are back on the venue of their famous 7-1 World Cup win of course, and the German team look full of beans. Followed by Andorra - who boast the highest life expectancy in Europe, don't you know...

Many Team GB athletes are still in training camps and as a result the British delegation will be small this evening.
The numbers are yet to be finalised but we are expecting around 70 athletes from archery, badminton, boxing, canoe slalom, equestrian, golf, trampoline, hockey, judo, rugby, sailing, shooting, t-tennis, tennis, & weightlifting.
If you know anyone out there - keep them peeled...

There are 207 teams on display tonight, and if you're planning on waiting up to see Andy Murray and co enter the Maracana, I've got some bad news.
Team GB are set to be the 76th team to enter, with Olympic pioneers Greece starting us off.
It's then alphabetical, with Afghanistan leading us away. The refugee team are 206th, with hosts Brazil last.
Readers of BBC Brasil’s Facebook page have been giving their reaction to what they are seeing so far – and it’s generally pretty positive.
“I could watch this forever. Would never have missed this. Loving it so far – it’s wonderful,” says Marianna Gomes in Aracaju.
“I'm overwhelmed, excited, happy. Everyone can think what they want, but I think it is super nice,” adds Guiomar Braga in Rio.
But the politics is never far away – Keli Vanin saying “I wanted to see the time taken for people to make a demonstration against corruption.”
