A warm night in the Aquatic Centre with an hour to go until Adam Peaty's 100m breaststroke final. This is a man who both says he's doing this for the Queen and whose favourite band are controversial Compton hip-hop heroes NWA. Have any other Olympic champions been inspired by both Elizabeth II and Eazy-E?
J-Rose is loving life in Rio
Swimming last night, tennis tonight. Justin Rose is hammering his accreditation. Quite right too.
We're still waiting for GB's first medal. But we expect that wait to come to an end in just over an hour's time.
Adam Peaty goes for gold at 02:53 BST.
A game changer
When was the last time you did something that you knew was going to change your life, forever?
A really, really important job interview maybe. A first date, a wedding, the birth of a child.
Passing your driving test. Streaming music for the first time. Having tea without sugar. Watching The Sopranos from start to finish.
Putting Worcestershire sauce on steak.
These moments don't come around very often. But for Adam Peaty, a 21-year-old swimmer from Uttoxeter, his entire life is about to change in just a minute.
Never can I recall a British athlete being such a red-hot favourite to win an Olympic gold. All he's got to do is get into the pool without falling over and the race is his.
If you listen to the experts anyway...
Strictly. Celebrity Bake Off. Cereal adverts. The celebrity jungle. His name on a swimming pool. All this and more could be heading his way.
He's just got the easy bit to do now. WIN THE RACE.
Djokovic 6-7 (4-7) Del Potro
What have we got here?! A shock on the cards, that's what.
Serbian world number one Novak Djokovic loses the opening set against Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro.
2009 US Open champion Del Potro, who is still on the road back after a long injury lay-off, roars with delight as he converts the second of three set points. Brilliant.
Want to watch this match? Well you can. Right here.
Andy and Jamie Murray lead 3-2 in the second set, still up by that early break.
Don't forget that they lost the opening set on a tie-break though.
Table Tennis
Disappointment for Great Britain's Liam Pitchford. He's just been knocked out of the table tennis men's singles after a third-round defeat by South Korea's Youngsik Jeoung, who came back from 0-1 to win 4-1.
An incredible world record. Incredible expressions.
Just an hour and 20 minutes until Adam Peaty goes for gold. Stay up. You can do it!

Adrian Moorhouse
1988 Olympic 100m breaststroke champion on BBC TV
Adrian Moorhouse speaking on BBC One about what makes Adam Peaty the best in the world at the moment:
"His physical and mental attributes. He has got everything - he is 6ft 3ins, he is in great shape. He has worked on his dive, he holds the water well and there is no dead spot.
"He is brilliant at keeping it flowing. Mentally he is the coolest, calmest person you can meet. To have the technical ability and talent to do this and then cope with the pressure of the moment and put the bubble around yourself and say 'you know what? I should be here'.
"He is very good at turning threats to opportunities. Everyone will say 'you are the best in the world, won't everyone be shooting for you?' but he will say 'yeah, I am at the best in the world and they should be looking up to me'. He has the complete package.
"Nothing is certain until it is over, but he is light years ahead from anybody else."
Swimming
What's it like being the parent of an aspiring Olympic champion?
Mrs Caroline Peaty spilled the beans on her son, Adam, to BBC Radio 5 live.
“There’s a lot of time involved with the driving, getting up at 4am, taking him swimming for 5, then doing a full day of work to go training again at night. It was hard going on Adam because he had school and exams. But he’s stuck with it.
"He was the one that dragged me, not the other way round. He has never, ever complained about getting up, attending an open meet or anything like that. If I wanted to stay in bed another hour he’d say: ‘no, come on mum. Champions aren’t made in bed’.
"He’s my son and for him to reach the goals he has reached, that gives me more satisfaction and more happiness. We’ve not set him goals. I’m so proud of his achievements and I love him to bits. He’s still my son, he’s my Adam."
Uzbekistan, North Korea, the Philippines, Kazakhstan, Vietnam...
Murrays have early break
Just the sort of response needed by Andy and Jamie Murray. They have broken serve in the first game of the second set.
There are more Brits in Brazil than you might think...
Murrays go a set down
A superb set of tennis ends with Brazil winning it in a tie-break.
Jamie Murray has been in good touch at the net but Andre Sa and Thomaz Bellucci are playing out of their skins...

Lee Savery: Watching the two Murrays is frustrating. They just don't work well together.
