A collective photo of eight Russian and Ukrainian tennis players standing together to demonstrate their friendship at the Olympics in Rio, posted by Russia's world number 45 Andrey Kuznetsov on Instagram, has angered quite a few social media users in Ukraine - those who view Russia as an aggressor state following the annexation of Crimea.

Kuznetsov accompanied the picture with the following text in Russian: "In reality, we are all friends #russia #ukraine #olympicvillage #wearestrongtogether #rio2016 #teamrussia #teamukraine"

Amber Hill nails her last two shots and that's 23 of 25 she's hit in round one, a good start, 50 shots to go in this qualifier.

She's told her her coach she "really enjoyed that".

A reminder, Hill must finish in the top six of 21 on the range to reach this afternoon's medal stages. I make her fifth at this early stage.

A journalist with the Russian Championat.com, external sports news website has admitted to deliberately misleading German colleagues in Rio in revenge for their boycotting of the Russian team at the Olympics.

Asked by two German journalists to show them the way to the finish area, he "smiled" and pointed in the opposite direction, knowing that they would spend half an hour trying to get out.

"Is it silly? Yes. Childishness and babyish behaviour? Definitely! But isn't our Western colleagues' behaviour childish?" he wrote in an articleheadlined, external 'Why Alexander Kruglov is not ashamed'.

Even if you don't consider yourself a gymnastics fan you've probably heard of Simone Biles.

At Rio 2016 the 19-year-old won the individual all-round gold by a larger margin than 1980 to 2012 combined.

The American is credited by many for turning the artistic gymnastics world upside down and even has a move named after her.

We've all heard of The Cruyff Turn, but there's plenty of other famous sporting moves you may, or may not, know are named after an athlete. Check them out here.

We are at the shooting range early doors to see if Amber Hill or Elena Allen can qualify for the latter stages of the women's skeet, an event which will hand out medals this afternoon.

Qualifying is under way and they need to place in the top six out of 21 athletes on the range to progress.

On my way in I find shooters warming up. It seems a tennis ball drill is popular whereby they have to catch two at once. I'm guessing it's to aid reaction speed.
