Women's Keirin
Sedate as a Sunday ride to begin with. You'd back yourself to keep up now. Definitely not by the end...

I would say Becky is looking at a medal at least. She will be in the top three if not the front.

After winning a third Olympic gold, and making history along the way, Laura Trott wants more and is not finished with her gold hunt in Rio.
She says: "I want to win gold in every race I'm in."
Women's team pursuit final
Laura Trott, who won her third gold in the women's team pursuit, told BBC Sport: "The feeling we were getting, it was like this machine was coming together. To come away with (a time of) 4.10 was honestly incredible."
Joanna Rowsell-Shand added: "This means the world to me. I have been here winning Olympic gold four years ago but this was a much harder battle. It has not all been going our way over the last two years, but we pulled together."
Women's Keirin

Women's Keirin
Without a second to draw breath, the women's Keirin final is upon us. Becky James goes up against Australian superstar Anna Meares. In the past two years, James has had to overcome a cancer scare and serious knee and shoulder injuries. Quite a story.

Sir Chris Hoy
Six-time Olympic cycling champion on BBC One
It was phenomenal, the Americans did not produce a bad ride.
USA attacked at the start, but the Brits responded. Laura produced a two-lap spell that turned things around, America lost a rider and the gap got bigger and bigger.
It is so great to see the celebrations. So much work has gone into this and it is great to see the hard work paying off.

It was so finely tuned, poetry in motion.
It is what we expect from the men's team because the girls format is new but they have embraced the new format.

These moments, to have a hug from your loved ones, are very special.
It is the second best thing to being on the podium.
