It was a team effort for Great Britain and the American team were in all sorts of difficulty.

Great Britain put everything into it. The Americans cracked under pressure and didn't use their resources as much as they would've liked. What an incredible time from Britain.

Track Cycling: Women's team pursuit final

    Sir Chris Hoy
Six-time Olympic cycling champion on BBC One

I think it will be closer than the men's final. There will only be a bike length between them. The Americans have the horsepower, but the Brits have the technique and you have to back the Brits.

Katie Archibald is new to the team, but she has dealt with everything that has come her way. She has joined the team without any problems. Laura Trott has the most experience, amazing technique and amazing power.

Elinor Barker has had to work very hard to get into this team and Joanna Rowsell-Shand is an Olympic champion.
