Jack Laugher with a forward two a half, three twists.

The judges give it a 76.05.

Laugher qualified 12th for the final so is the first man to dive each round...which should make the last set of dives nice and nervy for all involved.

Men's light heavyweight - round three

Joshua Buatsi has plenty of power - but Adilbek Niyazymbetov isn't letting him unleash it. Into the final minute, the Briton needs a knockout.

Was it Jason Kenny or Malaysia's Azizulhasni Awang who went past the derny too early?

One of them could be disqualified.

    We still wait.

Men's light heavyweight - end of round two

Joshua Buatsi starts to lose his rag a little, moaning at the referee in the final minute of round two. He gets a ticking off.

Why is the Briton frustrated? Because Adilbek Niyazymbetov is dictating the bout. The Kazakh gets through with a right jab - a long way back for Buatsi. Niyazymbetov wins across the board again.

Becky James has to settle for silver after losing round two of the gold medal race by the smallest of margins.

So, a reminder how this keirin thingy works then.

There's six riders on the track and they start behind a derny - or little moped - which will increase the pace to 50km/h for five and a half laps.

At that point, the derny disappears and it's a two-and-a-half lap sprint to the line.

    Simples.

The keirin started out as a race in Japan, used as a form of gambling.

So it's no surprise the riders draw lots to see where they start - Jason Kenny gets number three.

Here's your moment to grab greatness Jason - and they're off...

Men's light heavyweight - end of round one

How churlish of us to moan about having to type out the name of Adilbek Niyazymbetov on a regular basis. At least we don't have to fight him. "He should be a professional," BBC Sport's Steve Bunce says of the Kazakh world number one.

Joshua Buatsi acquires himself well. It's close. But not close enough. Niyazymbetov leads on all three judges' cards.

I think Jason may try take it on early. If he is not at the front with two laps to go he will line it up and absolutely launch one.

He could win it from the back, win it from the front. He just has to stay out of trouble.

More from Laura Trott ahead of fiancee Jason Kenny's keirin final: "I really hope Jason does it. He just said that he think he has got the legs but hopes he doesn’t mess it up - I hope he doesn’t mess it up!

"I wouldn’t say I enjoy it (watching Kenny). I am more stressed watching Jason than in my own race.

"I am not in control of it. You always know how you are feeling in your race but I have no idea how he is feeling."

Gold for Jason Kenny will pull him level with Sir Chris Hoy on six gold medals - the most of any British athlete. Unreal.
