It was well deserved for Vogel. She is so clever, saved a little extra for the last corner and the lunge on the line did it.

Kristina Vogel has it - remarkably the German's seat flew off in the final throes of that final. It's lying on the track.

Becky James looks gutted, but Vogel is a sensational athlete and there's no shame in losing this.

Oh my goodness... has Becky James done this? It's even closer than Marchant's...

GB's Becky James just edged out in the first race against Kristina Vogel of Germany, it was a matter of centimetres.

The second is under way...

It's a reverse three and a half somersaults on dive two for Jack Laugher...

...and he gets 91.00 for it!

And this time Becky James gets away. She lets Kristina Vogel take the lead and now the chess begins.
