    Sir Chris Hoy
Six-time Olympic cycling champion on BBC One

James and Marchant have pushed each other on.

They're rivals as well as teammates and you need that.

They're good friends but fierce competitors. Two medals in the women's sprint, we weren't expecting one.

    This is a bonus.

Hopefully James can reflect on this silver fondly - it goes with the one she won in the keirin a few days ago.

    Coming up

But all the excitement is not just in the Olympic Stadium tonight. There's some decent Brit-related action in the ring too...

Men's light heavyweight (22:30 BST): GB's Joshua Buatsi is already guaranteed a medal by reaching the semi-finals. But what colour will he take home?

Men's super heavyweight (22:45): Straight after Buatsi's bout, compatriot Joe Joyce is trying to become Britain's second medallist at this weight. The first? Anthony Joshua.....

It was well deserved for Vogel. She is so clever, saved a little extra for the last corner and the lunge on the line did it.

    Women's sprint

Kristina Vogel has it - remarkably the German's seat flew off in the final throes of that final. It's lying on the track.

Becky James looks gutted, but Vogel is a sensational athlete and there's no shame in losing this.

    Sprint final

A false star in the second contest between Becky James and Kristina Vogel - the German has a technical issue.

    It ratchets up the drama.

GB's James has to win this otherwise it's silver, not gold.
