A short hop from the Olympic Arena to the Aquatics Centre and we're ready to watch Jack Laugher go for gold. Again.

The Briton, already an Olympic champion of course,  somersaults, twists, and is awarded 81.60. Good.

There are a few Union flags here so there is support for him, but the numbers are down on what has been here on previous nights.

    Awkward.

Before the Belgium v Netherlands game started the players waited to sing the national anthem. Unfortunately the person who's job it is to hit the play button must of been busy as the players and crowd have to belt out the national anthems for both teams!

Take a look at what happened here.

Is Scott under-appreciated?published at 21:56 British Summer Time 16 August 2016

    Alistair Magowan
    BBC Sport in Rio

Giles Scott is a four-time world Finn champion, but have you heard much about him before? That's not a slight in any way, the 29-year-old is a master sailor and well known by those with even a passing interest in the sport, but now he's won gold on his Olympic debut could he break through to the wider consciousness?

When I asked him if he feels appreciated in Britain, he replied: "I hope so. The Olympic Games is what our sport is all about and, as sailors, we know that winning gold earns a huge amount of respect, more so than a world championships.

"To now say I'm in a position to have done that, it feels pretty special."

Laid-back, articulate, a physical force and the best at his sport in the world; you'll be hearing a lot more about Giles Scott in the near future.

It is no accident that we have all these medals. It is the team behind the team you see on the track. You can't mention them all because there are so many involved. It is about everybody trying to do the best they can do to contribute to team's success. Everybody wants to be world class in their role.
