GB watch on the track
Six GB athletes in action on the track tonight, with just one guaranteed to be in a final. Could we see more medals?
In the women's 110m hurdles (semi-finals 00:45 BST - 01:01 BST) sisters Tiffany Porter and Cindy Ofili are both in action and both will hope to make the final.
Porter has a world championship medal to her name. So there's hope.
The men's 200m semis see Dan Talbot (02:00 BST), Adam Gemili (02:08 BST) and Nat Mitchell-Blake (02:16 BST) all aim for a place in the final.
If they want to get through they will need to break the 20-second barrier - something only Mitchell-Blake has managed this season.
And in the women's 200m final (02:30 BST) Dina Asher-Smith will hope to make the most of her fortuitous path to the last eight. She will need to better her PB of 22:07 to feature at the thick end.
But that's not all. In the men's 200m semi-finals we have Usain Bolt, Justin Gatlin and LaShawn Merritt. PACE.
Tonight's schedule
Just three medals available to the track and field community this evening.
They are:
Women's long jump (from 01:15 BST)
Women's 200m (02:30 BST)
Women's 100m hurdles (02:55 BST)
No medals for GB today - rubbish! - and at the moment it's a bit of a lull across the Olympic park.
But the athletics is about to resume shortly. Here's what's coming up...
Evening everyone! Has the fatigue set in yet or are you all still buzzing for more?
