Sonia McLaughlin has just asked Tiffany Porter whether her confidence was knocked by her failure in the world championships final last year.

    Tiffany wasn't best pleased.

"I don’t think that’s a very appropriate question to ask at this time. Bye."

"Maybe I got that one wrong," says Sonia...

Tiffany Porter's younger sister Cindy Ofili goes in the next semi. Can she get through?

Tiffany is watching from on high, pacing up and down. Her sister could knock her out here. Or they could both get through.

    Or neither. Intense stuff...

Jasmine was pushing all the way there, maybe that is why she hit the hurdle. She is 19, she'll have more opportunities but she was right there in amongst it.

Jasmine Camacho-Quinn was rolling, but she is devastated. She catches the trail leg and then it's all over. Once you have all your force going that way there is not much you can do. Devastated for her.

Nia Ali wins it in 12.66 but there's drama just behind, Jasmine Camacho-Quinn was right in the mix for second or third and clatters the hurdle hard, bailing out.

She is in instant tears. It's a brutal event.

It hasn't been a vintage year for Tiffany, but I still would have expected her to get through. She will be bitterly, bitterly disappointed with that performance. It is just the way hurdles goes sometimes.

That is not really a surprise. Tiffany got out so well but as she has been of late, just fading towards the end. Not quite there.

Kenya's Ezekiel Kemboi has been disqualified from the men's steeplechase for putting one foot off the track during the race earlier today. He had won bronze, but that medal is now awarded to Mahiedine Mekhissi of France.

We are astonished at that decision, given the fact that Ezekiel Kemboi was so far ahead. It is one foot and that means he is now disqualified - it is a pretty harsh decision.
