This is the game we have really been looking forward to.
It is going to be a cracking semi-final.

Great Britain 0-0 New Zealand
Four quarters of 15 minutes, remember. Judging from the noise in the crowd, GB are better supported. There's been once British fan with a drum present throughout. It sounds like he's there again.

Paul Denny: That's how ya sing the National Anthem. Come on girls.

Under way. A place in the Olympic final at stake...

A last few seconds to banish demons, quell nerves and summon motivation as the anthems ring out.
Great Britain v New Zealand
Last instructions. GB skipper Kate Richardson-Walsh leading in the huddle. Sun just starting to go down. Dramatic setting.

Ex-GB Olympic hockey player
The times when GB had to rely on Alex Danson are gone.
Seven or eight players are scoring and it is all backed up by a fantastic defence.
Great Britain v New Zealand
God Defend New Zealand by the ladies in black, God Save the Queen by the women in red. If it was a singing the anthem competition, GB would win.

Where there were once hoards of rugby sevens fans sipping on a cold one, now there is simply space at Deodoro. It's the first time this venue has felt a little empty, offering a sense that the Games are coming to a conclusion.
It'll be up to the final hockey throws and modern pentathlon to reignite this fan and shade-free patch of Rio.

Here we go then.
Officials, in yellow, on to the blue field. Players follow into the Rio evening. Line-up for the anthems.

The British women warm up, they came out notably later than New Zealand, one wonders how calculated that was given conditions.
Sir Steve Redgrave has turned up to watch.
Maddie Hinch goes through her drills in goal, some say she's the best stopper in the tournament. It's a bit like Sunday League football the way they all just line up and pelt shots at her in the warm up.
Interestingly, our on-pitch entertainer interviews a fan who says: "I lived in London and couldn't get a ticket for things in 2012, it's much easier here."
Not half, the stadium is about 30% full. Strip media and family out and this would look like a Sunday League attendance.
Earlier on, the Netherlands and Germany played out a belting semi-final. 1-1 after four quarters, it was taken to a penalty competition. For once, the Germans were beaten. The Netherlands, the world number ones, scraped through to the final.
We'll be keeping you updated with everything that will happen in Rio this evening, but if you'd rather see for yourself, you can pick your live stream right here.
HT: Nigeria 0-1 Germany
Half time!
Germany took the early lead but Nigeria have bossed the second half of this first half. Just before the break they had a great chance as Aminu Umar bore down on goal, but just as he looked set to poke home Matthias Ginter made a magnificent saving tackle.
All to play for. The winners face Brazil in the gold-medal match.
Women's individual stroke play
World number two Ariya Jutanugarn leads the first women's Olympic golf event since 1900 after a six-under-par 65 in the opening round at Rio 2016.
Thailand's Jutanugarn, 20, is one shot ahead of South Korean pair Inbee Park - a seven-time major winner - and Seiyoung Kim.
GB number one Charley Hull is three shots behind after a 68, while team-mate Catriona Matthew is level par.
New Zealand's Lydia Ko, the teenage world number one, carded a 69.
Yep, GB face New Zealand at 21:00, with a place in the final against the Netherlands awaiting the winners.
At four, the Black Sticks are higher in the world rankings than GB's seven, but the British are the only side with a 100% record in the tournament.
So Tom Rostance is keeping an eye on that football semi-final, Stephan Shemilt back with you for what could be a bit of British sporting history.
The Great Britain women's hockey team have never reached an Olympic final.
Until now?
