While we continue to wait for that final race in the women's 470 to begin (and Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark to seal their gold medal), Shirley Robertson is about to go live on the BBC Sport Facebook, external page with our very own Alistair Magowan.

The racing, by the way, has been pushed back to 18:55.

I've just stumbled across the area where athletes warm up for BMX. They seem to just want to test the wheels and then there are some exercise bikes tucked away to warm the quads up.

Remember Team GB have Liam Phillips and Kyle Evans coming up shortly in the time trial.

Phillips described this course as "unrideable" when he came for a test event in October. The jumps were seen as dangerous. It seems to have been toned down a tad so let's hope he goes safely. Phillips already has a metal plate in his collar bone thanks to BMX activities.

Brit alert! Charley Hull missed her monster of an eagle putt on 10. Not surprising as she was about the length of the world's longest python away from the hole. Her ball snaked and slithered towards the drain, just stopping short for the easiest of birdie putts.

The British number one is three-under, two shots off clubhouse leader Inbee Park. Hull's team-mate Catriona Matthew is already back inside having a cheese sandwich and bowl of chips. She finished with a level-par 71.

Everyone is playing the waiting game in the Bay as sailors, media and fans grow frustrated with a lack of action in the women's 470 medal race.

But it's still a busy time on board the TV boat as driver Sergio is given his cue to go and find GB's Hannah Mills and Saskia Mills, carefully weaving his way between the flotilla of media, official and competitor boats.

Once he has found them, he has to get on the right side of them to get the perfect shot for cameraman Tim so that Shirley Robertson can deliver another live segment into the main BBC show.

Good job he is the "best skipper in Brazil".

    Glory hunters.

I've not seen a Colombian anywhere this week and yet they are at BMX in droves to follow Olympic champion Mariana Pajon.

She was just 20 in 2012 and won the second gold in her nation's history.

Post event interviews with a helmet on your head are something we should see more of.

Pajon will have a nice draw for knockouts tomorrow.  The men's time trial is coming up.

Jack Degge: Re:Sam Holloway (17:57) “Gold” medals aren’t as valuable as you would think. They contain 494 grams of silver & only 6 grams of gold. That means a Gold Medal is worth only around £400 in scrap. 38 Gold & Silver Medals so far equals less than £18,000 total.

Most of the world's leading male golfers might be watching the Olympics from the sofa, but not their female counterparts.

Almost all of the world's top 10 are competing in Rio, including seven-time major winner Inbee Park and world number one Lydia Ko.

South Korea's Park, who was a doubt with a thumb injury, has just holed out on the last. And she is currently the clubhouse leader with a five-under 66.

Brazil seem to have this match in the bag already so their fans are intent on enjoying themselves. An accordion player is serenading those nearby, they're dancing, they're singing.

Neymar raises his arms, asks the crowd to raise the decibels and they oblige.

A woman to my left can't contain her excitement. One moment she's on her feet, the next she's sitting down, and this is when Brazil are cruising.

    Men's semi-final: Brazil 4-0 Honduras (52 minutes)

    Easy, easy.

It is 4-0 for Brazil in their men's football semi-final against Honduras. Defender Marquinhos is unmarked from a corner and is able to smash in a fourth from close range.

The 2014 World Cup in Rio ended in disappointment and humiliation for the hosts with a 7-1 semi-final loss to Germany. The Germans are in the other semi-final and face Nigeria later on today.

It could be revenge and gold for Brazil this time around. They also have another 35 minutes to boost their goal tally further against Honduras.
