    Women's 470

This final race, the one that will seal goal for Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark, is being pushed back in five-minute increments. We're already up to 18:25. There are a lot of dinghies floating about on the sea, soaking up the sunshine.

Now, am I the only one thinking that banner is out of date? It's referring to 2015, right? She's won four gold medals and a silver in Rio, but no one thought to update the banner...

Speaking of Ledecky, have a look at this picture from Dulles Airport, where the uberstar has arrived home too.

    Notice anything strange about it?

Brazilian fans have been getting some stick for being unsporting. Here, they ignore boxers Daniyar Yeleussinov and Elvin Mamishzada, cheering Brazilian referee Jones Kennedy Silva Do Rosario instead.

The boats have been towed out with a view to an 18:10 start, but we've been told that might be an extra five minutes because of a change in the conditions.

What do you do to pass the time on an Olympic dinghy? I'm guessing it's not the sort of boat that will have a mini bar.

    Women's individual stroke play

Britain's Charley Hull made a good start with a birdie on the first, but it has been pretty steady since. She cards a two-under 33 at the turn, four off the early lead.

But... she has just driven the green on the par-5 10th in two. Tweet tweet. An eagle at best, surely a birdie at worst.

R&B seems to be the beat these BMX daredevils sign up to if the tunes so far are anything to go by.

It's interesting to see the different strategies applied in this time trial. Some riders take bumps out of the equation by building enough speed to jump them. Others seem to want to stay grounded and visibly hold the bike down.

Every inch counts and remember these women have one brake and one gear, there are no crazy gizmos to help out.

Laura Smulders of Netherlands is quickest so far as athletes chase a fast lap in order to have a nice draw for the knockouts. It's like F1 qualifying, minus the fumes and baseball caps.

That Simone Biles tale has got me thinking about the other downsides of winning an Olympic medal. I'm struggling to think of any, other than having to meet Jonathan Ross.

Simone Biles will be welcomed back to the States a hero after her four gold medals but she could also be greeted by a hefty tax bill of over $40,000

She is not alone. American Olympians are subject to a so-called "victory tax" - a tax on their prize money, endorsement earnings and even on the value of the medals they return with.

Biles' bill of around £33,479 is estimated based on the $2m endorsement earnings and assuming she is charged in the highest income tax bracket in the US - 39.6%.

Perfect half for Brazil, who have one foot in the men's football final. Neymar scored after only 15 seconds and has since been everywhere - including on the ground. A lot. Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus grabbed the other two in the perfect Maracana sunshine.

With the women's 470 race postponed because of light winds, there is time for BBC Sport sailing reporter Shirley Robertson to speak live to Hazel Irvine in the Copacabana studio.

Robertson describes the tight-knit partnership between Hannah Mills, from Wales, and Essex-born Saskia Clark as "the real-life Gavin and Stacey".

The wind has since picked up as the boats make their way out of the Marina da Gloria, with a nice little tow. The latest start time we're hearing is 1810 BST.
