19:38 BST 20 August 2016I spent my drive into work today trying to come up with puns to celebrate Maddie Hinch's heroics.
"GB's Hinch-pin" and "She had a Hinch which way the penalty takers would go" were the best I could muster.
I need a hobby.
Feel free to add your own attempts...

19:37 BST 20 August 2016Great Britain goalkeeping hero Maddie Hinch on BBC One: "I love penalties. For a goalkeeper they are a chance to do your bit for the team, so why not go out and make the most of it?
"To get a clean sheet in the penalty shootout was a special one for me but it was a massive team effort.
"I had my first piece of chocolate this morning and it was magical!"

The USA's women's basketball team have so many amazing victory stats to keep ticking over, but the best of the bunch is their quest for a sixth-straight (yes, six!) Olympic gold medals. They face Spain in the final.
To throw a few more numbers in, USA are on a 48-game winning streak at the Olympics, and are aiming for their eighth gold medal in 10 attempts. To further make Spain feel intimidated, USA beat tonight's opponents 103-63 in the group stages 12 days ago.
The final is under way and you can watch it here.

Olympic champion boxerThere is nothing stopping the man except himself.
He has got people eating out of his hand. He's got so much energy. He just has to go and do what he does. Yoka has a great jab but I don't think a job is enough to stop Joe Joyce.
Joyce fights Tony Yoka of France in the super heavyweight final tomorrow.

A stonking day in the boxing ring for Cuba. Half an hour or so after Robeisy Ramirez claimed bantamweight gold, Arlen Lopez beats Bektemir Melikuzier of Uzbekistan to win middleweight gold.

Britain's Charley Hull finished tied for seventh in the women's golf and she's not too downhearted.
"I was quite happy with the way I finished," the 20-year-old said after a final round of 68.
"I hit a great shot into the last and could have raced that (eagle) putt a little bit more, but I was a bit of a wimp on it. I left it a little bit short."
Note: The word wimp was a replacement for a naughtier word she used.
"My first Olympics was a fantastic experience and I got a good buzz off it."

19:20 BST 20 August 2016And here's the best bit about modern pentathlon. You get given a random horse for the showjumping.
Nobody wants to get given Cranky McCrankface - notoriously grumpy horse.
Here's Sir Matthew Pinsent to tell you which horses the British duo have been paired with.
Time to bust out your best horse whispering, boys.

19:16 BST 20 August 2016Modern pentathlon
Great Britain's Joe Choong is in bronze medal position after the first two events of the modern pentathlon.
After a decent swim, he's done OK in the fencing too and has 569 points - leader Alexander Lesun of Russia has 592 points.
The final points event is showjumping at 19:30 BST.
The rankings are then used to apply handicap times in the run-shoot combo for the medals - think of it like the obstacle course in Gladiators.
GB's Jamie Cooke is down in 18th.

19:10 BST 20 August 2016Great Britain hockey captain Kate Richardson-Walsh on BBC TV: "The full game felt like a flashback of my whole career in one game. It had the drama, the ups and downs. This squad is unbelievable. I am so proud of every one of them.
"It is not just the girls who were out there, it is about the whole squad.
"It is a cultural thing, spending time together, and this is the culmination. This gold medal is worth all that sweat and blood."

19:08 BST 20 August 2016Britain's women's 4x100m bronze medallists have been chatting to Clare Balding and I want to be best friends with all of them.
In all honesty, there is probably not a better example of four female athletes that young British girls could relate to than this quartet.
Great sprinters and great fun.

18:44 BST 20 August 2016Joe Choong should stay in and around medal contention after his fencing effort.
He sat third after the swim, and because of a decent fencing ranking-round performance, he'll be high up in the points in the fencing bonus round.
The Briton wins two bouts, before being beaten by Frenchman Valentin Prades.
He's currently in first position, with a few more to finish their fencing.
