There should be a dressage version of Strictly. Get some celebrities on a horse and let them dance.

If you see it on your telly, remember that you heard it here first.

Artistic Gymnastics - Hall moves up the gearspublished at 13:13 British Summer Time 28 July 2021

    Men's all-around final

Britain's James Hall has just moved in front of compatriot Joe Fraser in the men's all-around final.

Hall's 14.433 on the parallel bars moves him up to 11th, while Fraser is 15th.

All gymnasts are about to move onto their penultimate piece of apparatus and the medals may be out of reach for the British duo.

But can Hall make it into the top 10?

'This is going to lift him'published at 13:07 British Summer Time 28 July 2021

    Men's all-round final

    Craig Heap
Commonwealth Games gold-winning gymnast on BBC TV

Well he didn't let the disappointment from pommel come across to rings.

That's going to lift him from 17th.

One of the best things about this routine for me, is the height before the dismount, he was about a foot above the others we've seen.

This is the future of British gymnastics, it's fantastic.

    And it's an outstanding score.

    Men's all-around final

Now then, it looks as if Britain's Joe Fraser has put his disappointment on the pommel horse behind him.

He has just scored an impressive 14.433 on the rings, which moves him up to 12th place as it stands.

That will do wonders for his confidence.

You'll see Laura Kenny lurking in fourth place on that table. She could end these Games with seven golds.

This will mean an awful lot to Charlotte Dujardin, the emotion she is showing with all her team surrounding her. She will be incredibly proud of such a young horse, but a very, very capable young horse.
