I think Great Britain can certainly take lots of confidence from that, you know when you're playing the Dutch that you will have to soak up a lot of pressure - it's the way it is because they're an exceptionally good team!

GB did that well and they had possession they haven't had in the past.

Unfortunately, I do think we did lack at the execution and the decision-making in those chances. But we are making them and this will give so much confidence going into their last group game against Ireland.

I think they've done enough and I'm looking forward to seeing what else they can do in the rest of the tournament.

I don't mean to go on about Simone Biles but when you get a gymnast like that who isn't involved, the psychology of that and the other gymnasts thinking that this is their chance - that must be very difficult to get your head around.

Leader Rebeca Andrade has just nailed a superb uneven bars routine.

And she is rewarded with a 14.666. The 22-year-old is aiming to earn Brazil's first ever women's gymnastics medal at the Olympics.

In 2019, Andrade sustained her third serious knee injury in four years so it is amazing that she is even here at all.

    Mixed 4x100m medley relay

It's been a great Games for Team GB in the pool and we have another chance of a medal as the quartet of Kathleen Dawson, Adam Peaty, James Guy and Freya Anderson have just moved into the final of the mixed 4x100m medley relay.

They did so in some style too as they broke the European record to win their heat in a time of three minutes 38.75 seconds.

Guy pulled out of the men's 100m butterfly earlier on today to focus on the relay.

The final takes place on Saturday.

The Netherlands keep up their impressive run in the pool stages, scoring 15 and conceded just one across four straight wins.

Britain, currently third in Group A, should still make it through to the last eight. They play Ireland in their final pool stage game on Saturday.

Defensively Great Britain have played exceptionally well, you would have expected the Netherlands to have scored from one of their nine corners of the game but they haven't purely because of the defensive wall.

Hinch has made saves on the line.

GB have been much braver after the first-quarter and they're keeping possession of the ball so well.

It's just their decision making in the attacking area that hasn't been so great and that's why they haven't scored a goal.

We can still get a draw from this for sure!

There has been much talk of who will take the women's all-around title after Simone Biles pulled out, saying she must prioritise her mental health.

After the first rotation, it is Brazil's Rebeca Andrade who has the lead.

The 22-year-old scored an excellent 15.30 on the vault, with the United States' Jade Carey second after a 15.20 on the same apparatus.

The Russian Olympic Committee's Angelina Melnikova is third after a 14.633. Great Britain's Jessiva and Jennifer Gadirova are also in action...

    Men's 100m butterfly heats

American Caeleb Dressel has just equalled the Olympic record in the men's 100m butterfly heats.

The 24-year-old, who has already bagged two golds in Tokyo, swam a time of 50.39 seconds, matching the mark set by Singapore's Joseph Schooling at Rio 2016.

Dressel knows he can go better though as he is the world record holder thanks to a time of 49.5 two years ago.

Britain's James Guy was set to race, but did not start and is scheduled to be in the mixed 4x100m medley relay later on. Fellow Briton Jacob Peters came sixth in his heat but his time of 52.07 is not good enough to make the semi-finals.

    • In hockey, Sam Ward scored twice as GB men came from behind to draw 2-2 with the Netherlands.
    • GB's women's rugby sevens team lost 26-21 to New Zealand after winning their opening pool A match against the Russian Olympic Committee 14-12.
    • British boxer Frazer Clarke won his opening super heavyweight bout.
